I was gonna say, the area where Tran-SIMS and then Sunmark were, weren't in the "same location" - by a far shot.  After all, Altamont Ave isn't NEARLY the same busy area as Guilderland Ave ...   What were they THINKING??

Transom's was bought by sunmark.
Again....I don't have a horse in this race....but the broadway location seemed to work just fine for the area.
But it appears that they still want a presence in ROTTENdam.

Broadway location sucks...wouldn't be surprised if it is eventually closed in favor of Altamont location

I've had to take my co-worker there a few times...and alto I always waited in the car...there was never a problem....but again.....I don't use their service personally.

As I see it, Rotterdam is FAR from being a "declining community" simply because it doesn't have higher end retailers of your choosing.

                    Maybe if the town could redirect some of the money that's collected from taxes and spend it on much needed infrastructure, like sewers, from exit 25 to the sewer plant we could draw more higher end retailers to the area.
