We learned today that Rotterdam is under the tax cap.  

That sounds odd, doesn't it.  A 9% tax increase is under the tax cap.


We know that the supervisor has refused to divulge the tax levy, it does not appear anywhere in the budget document.  However, as I have stated before, the tax cap is on the levy, not our taxes.

So obviously the tax levy is under the tax cap.


But as I have further stated before, thanks to all these metroplex handouts, the 100% tax exemptions (with the puny pilots), our tax bills increase way more than the tax levy.   And that is why our tax BILLS in the town bills ALONE are increasing by 9%.

Haven't been on here every day.  And I went to catch up on some things and saw that, but read the words "Mohonasen" and wondered about Rotterdam as the town instead of just the school district.  Thus we saw that and were initially raised eyebrows because of the whopping 9% tax increase in the town, but of course, I knew it must have been the tax levy, and like I said, thanks to plex giving out all these pilots tax BILLS are massively increasing even when the LEVY is within limits, that's where Cuomo needs to change the "tax cap" but that will never happen.
