the street remained open and nothing was said to the neighbors

(NEWS10) – A Rotterdam man is under arrest after police say he and a friend got drunk and fired three rounds into the woods of his residential neighborhood. Police say they responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Gordon Road and Sylvia Lane at approximately 6:10 a.m. Wednesday morning. The caller stated the shots came from in front of 139 Gordon Road and he observed two individuals enter that address after hearing the gunshots. Officers responded, set up a perimeter around the road and attempted to make contact with the occupants. Officers were able to make contact with a resident of the address who then abruptly terminated the phone call and refused to respond to repeated attempts to communicate with him. Police were able to make contact with the second individual in the residence and negotiated for both to exit the residence without further incident approximately four hours after the initial call. According to authorities 33-year-old Justin Baltazar of Rotterdam was taken into custody and charged with Reckless Endangerment and Unlawfully Discharging a Firearm within 500 feet of a Residence, both Misdemeanors. http://news10.com/2015/10/28/rotterdam-man-arrested-for-shooting-gun-into-neighborhood/

Wow,just wow misdemeanors for letting off shots in residential neighbourhood ,$hit they would of locked up a resident from Hamilton hill, and gave multiple life terms......even attempted murder.i think that is bias as hell,Rotterdam is know diffrent then,Schenectady accept the houses are nicer! |

no. their 'privilege' to drive in the state is restricted, they CAN still drive and I know people who do. Having said that when all that new fancy 'safe human' technology is in place(black boxes, breathalyzers etc etc) your choice will be limited. we accept the authority of another human to hand out privilege and still call it freedom.....hhhhmmmm |
