NG is one of the founding fathers of the METROPLEX/GILLEN....and he has benefited quite well from that entity.

HOWEVER....the golubs clearly give back to the community as well.

The fact is that Neil and Joan Golub each donated $4,500, which is the legal limit for an individual non-family donation to a campaign, to Hull's campaign.  I am sure that they expect access and favors for the $9,000 given.

Yes, the Golubs have given/donated to various charities but they also "gifted," with a whole bunch of strings attached, Rotterdam with parts of the Curry Road Shopping Center only to "sit on" the  other parts and block progress on redeveloping that important piece of property in town.  Our family won't shop at Price Chopper until they stop dragging their feet and do what needs to be done so that the Curry Road Plaza redevelopment can go ahead.
