GunHugger Liability Insurance
--What if gun owners were required to obtain liability insurance based on the specifics of
the guns being purchased?
Quoted Text
Lawmakers in at least half a dozen states, including California, Connecticut,
Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania, have proposed legislation
this year that would require gun owners to buy liability insurance — much as car owners
are required to buy auto insurance. Doing so would give a financial incentive for safe
behavior, they hope, as people with less dangerous weapons or safety locks could qualify
for lower rates.

House bill would require gun owners to have liability insurance
House Democrat Rep. Carolyn Maloney (N.Y.) has introduced a bill that would require gun owners
to carry liability insurance.

The Firearm Risk Protection Act, unveiled Friday, would require gun buyers to have liability
insurance coverage before being allowed to purchase a weapon, and would impose a fine
of $10,000 if an owner is found not to have it.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

I'm sure the criminals, the VAST majority who don't get their guns legally, will volunteer to get liability insurance. smh

Insurance for gun owners won't prevent one accident or a single crime.

Although I do believe all government employees that carry guns should be required to carry liability insurance.

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
