You can't look at any news site and not see something about the "nazi" Minnesota dentist who killed this animal.

Peta wants him hanged, so do a lot of other people....I'm willing to bet that at least half of those people are against capital punishment...for human murders anyway...

I personally think the reaction is ridiculous... Media idiots like Sharon Osbourne wish for him to lose his money, business, and home.... he does have a wife and two kids.. I'm sure Sharon will offer support to them...not...

Cecil

Cecil the lion is dead, killed illegally in Zimbabwe, authorities allege, by a foreign
hunter or hunters who paid about $55,000 for the privilege.

Cecil was part of an Oxford University research project and wore a GPS collar.

He was lured out of a national park with food, shot with a crossbow, tracked for
40 more hours, then finished off with a gun.

Walter James Palmer has had similar incidents in the past.  He illegally killed a black bear in
Wisconsin several years ago, according to court documents. That individual pleaded guilty
to making a false statement.  He was sentenced to one year on probation and ordered to
pay a fine of nearly $3,000.

Not saying he shouldn't pay for his crime, IF it can be proven he knew about the protected status of the animal.

I'm just shaking my head about the world reaction and all the "humane" anti-death penalty folks who want him hanged because he killed a "majestic" animal...

I don't agree with the hunting of animals unless for food or population control.
$55K to kill just for sport....I don't agree with.
but that is must my own personal opinion.

In a separate case, Palmer's insurance company paid $127,500 to a former employee who
accused the doctor of sexual harassment.

Palmer, who claimed that he approved the settlement to dispose of the matter, made unwanted
contact with the woman’s breasts, buttocks and genitals, the lawsuit charged.

It's not difficult to figure out that this guy is just your typical Republican douche bag!

Oh please....if sexual harassment is a qualifier, load up the dump truck with Dems like Clinton, Weiner,...and enablers like Sheldon Silver.
And for hunters? Try LBJ (Deer), Carter (quail) and Kerry..., oh right, that was fake...

Why do you eventually tie politics into just about every topic?

I find it alarmingly sad to think the media/aka arm of the government, has filled the airways about this lion and yet they follow their marching orders and hush up the dismembering and selling of baby's organs.
I'm really proud to be a member of this 'civilized' society.

One can hate this waste of skin human AND care about the Planned Parenthood story too. It isn't an either/or choice. I wish they'd let Zimbabwe have him, and Zimbabwe would throw him in a dungeon.

Wouldn't it be great if all the people that are so inflamed over the hunt and death of a lion (a wild animal), were as outraged over, for example, the selling of fetal body parts, deaths of 5 Marines in Tennessee or even the loss of lives in Benghazi - or countless other tragedies happening every single day.  No, instead they're worried about a lion, a flag and other distractions designed to keep their attention away from the real issues going on behind their backs.

We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.   Funny how that works.

Has someone done a study, to match up who cares about one and not the other? I don't think so. I care about the lion and I don't care who doesn't think I should.

So it's one or the other???
Can you post about this @sshole dentist AND the 5 Marines?
DO they have to be rated from 1-10 by importance?
I have no problem keeping track of the lion story, PP, the 5 Marines, the non scandal in Benghazi and
the Confederate flag...
It's not that difficult.
