BREAKING: Obama Launches Secret Weapon to Destroy Fox News and Matt Drudge? (WATCH)

By TPIWriter |  5,592 views

We all know what a big moment it was when President Ronald Reagan stopped the so-called “Fairness Doctrine,” which unleashed today’s era of talk radio.

Now, a new plan from the Obama White House appears to be the internet version of the “Fairness Docterine.” Busybody government bureaucrats, who are appointed by President Barack Obama, are apparently gunning for Fox News and internet icon Matt Drudge’s Drudge Report.

Ajit Pai, a Republican member of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) who has already received death threats from Obama-supporters, is sounding the alarm on this secret plan to control the media and put an end to fair-and-balanced news outlets. This is outrageous!

Pai, one of two Republicans on the five-member FCC, has been an outspoken critic of net neutrality regulations passed by the agency on Feb. 26. The rules, which are set to take effect on June 12, reclassify Internet providers as utilities and command them not to block or “throttle” online traffic.

However, Pai said it was only the beginning. In the future, he said, “I could easily see this migrating over to the direction of content… What you’re seeing now is an impulse not just to regulate the roads over which traffic goes, but the traffic itself.”

Continuing, he said, “It is conceivable to me to see the government saying, ‘We think the Drudge Report is having a disproportionate effect on our political discourse. He doesn’t have to file anything with the FEC. The FCC doesn’t have the ability to regulate anything he says, and we want to start tamping down on websites like that.’”[…]

“Is it unthinkable that some government agency would say the marketplace of ideas is too fraught with dissonance? That everything from the Drudge Report to Fox News… is playing unfairly in the online political speech sandbox? I don’t think so,” Pai said.

By regulating the internet and speech by cable news providers, Obama’s FCC is trying to shape the opinions of the masses. No longer can news be fair and objective… And they must promote large government spending programs… OR ELSE!

This is a shameful attack on the First Amendment by our radical President, just a year away from being finished with his 2nd term.

Drudge doesn't report news. The only thing Drudge does is link to news sites.

Anyone with half a brain can do what Matt Drudge does.

EDIT:

We have one for Eve Online that was modeled after Drudge....

What is Total Eve?

Total Eve came from the minds of two players/commentators of the eve online universe Wiggles and Dirk Macgirk. After many hours of chatting on Eve-Radio and other shows/podcasts we thought 'why is there no Drudge Report for Eve-Online',

So we made one.

Simply put Total Eve is where you can come to get all the latest posts from CCP/Bloggers/News sites/Reddit/Podcasts etc etc all on one page. Its just that simple, If you think something should be added please mail Info @ Totaleve.com

FoxSnooze is not news.
FoxSnooze is  the communications network for the Right.

So I guess that makes you a hypocritical neckbeard for using fox news links.

And MSNBC is the same for the left. What's your point?

LOL @ "hypocritical neckbeard"

I occasionally link to FoxSnooze (for those who think that Fox is "actual news"), when
Fox will run a story that proves my point.
For 'normal people', a link to FoxSnooze is usually done to point out the 'hypocrisy of the Right'.

Yes.  MSNBC is the same for the left... (but MSNBC also runs actual news, IMO).
Sourcing FoxSnooze or MSNBC is good if you are a 'true believer' in that source, but
for actual news,  both are suspect.

My point?  ABC, NBC, ABC, PBS, BBC, etc with few exceptions, are reliable sources for actual news.
Fox & MSNBC are not.

Well why didn't you post that also then? When you post just half of the story, then you're pretty much doing the same thing you b**ch about. Or do you do it that way just to tweak people?

IMO, most reasonable people understand that MSNBC or FoxSnooze are 'political' in nature.

I would hope so. So, you were trying to tweak folks by not mentioning that in your post then, right?

Not sayin' that's right or wrong, and lord knows I've done my share of getting under folks skins on purpose myself, but I at least at some point admit that's what I've done.

Let's be honest here, most of the stuff you post here is done with that in mind.

IMO, most of what I post is my political views, or a response to Right Wing Propaganda.
I love it when the FoxSnooze faithful will read a post on FoxSnooze that is in opposition to
their dogma.
This board, at least where I post on this board, is very conservative, with little opposition to their
views.  Without a dissenting voice, they may actually think that this board IS the American view.

Only Fox News is conspiring, nobody else.  Fox is part of the "vast right wing conspiracy".  As the Conspiracy Theorist, and Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will attest to.
