It's about time black people stood up to those who murder/maim/abuse them and are protected by the badge.

The rioters didn't cause the riots, the cops did.

The riots should be in the cops neighborhoods, not their own.

The police issue with this person is the catalyst behind demonstrations.

The police's failure in the situation caused people to demonstrate and bring attention
to the issue of police brutality and cover-ups.

The demonstrators are not rioters!

The demonstrators did not cause rioting and rioters.

The police did not cause rioting and rioters, they caused demonstrations.

The RIOTERS caused the criminality associated with the RIOTING that the RIOTERS caused!
Rioters are criminals that seize on any opportunity to commit looting and destruction behind
the veil of being demonstrators, when in reality they only care about looting and getting
away with it. They are opportunists.  Demonstrators DO NOT fit the category of rioters.

How do you know the intentions behind the rioting?

Oh...you're a mind reader.  People in the real world read minds.

Hey, the real world says cops purposely broke a guys spine and crushed his windpipe, killing him, and they are walking free. Because apparently they are not criminals like those opportunistic rioters.

See, there's Sissy's world....please provide proof of your claim of intentionally breaking his spine
or crushing a windpipe and intentionally killing them. Love to see that proof.

While you're at it, please explain what possible intent a looting, building burning, car destroying rioter has
that would lead to positive results that would address the brutality of police.  Can't wait to hear your
insightful explanation. You did see the videos of car smashing, setting the drugstore on fire, stealing
everything they could carry...right? Those are actions intended to bring attention to the wrongs of the police, right?

As soon as you show me proof the intentions of every rioters was "opportunistic", and I'll show the cops intentionally broke Freddy Gray's spine.

Read the Salon.com article I posted in this thread.  They writer believes the destruction of property is intentional and a legitimate form of violent protest against what they believe to be their oppressors.

The Boston Tea party was rioters.

Sometimes you have to draw a line in the sand.

Black people need to stop going quietly to prison slave labor factories.

The cops caused all of this with years of hunting black people for fun and profit.

Incarcerating millions for victimless crimes.

Abusing, beating and killing them all along the way.

Boston Tea Party was an uprising where protesters destroyed chests of tea to protest a corporate tax break...far
cry from being a riot where looting and destruction took place for individual benefit!

I never implied I didn't own a house...just said it isn't an asset or investment. I said millenials aren't buying houses because renting gives mobility and no risk of bankrupting themselves with a mortgage.

Is your house worth 50% more adjusted for inflation?  Is it worth 50% more than the purchase price or more than the purchase price plus the interest you paid to the bank?  Are you saying you can buy a different house in the same area worth 50% more than the one you currently live in?

interesting and ambiguous.....

I might buy a house.  If I did, I would look at it as an investment or asset.
