According to the U.S. Census Bureau, white people have another 30 years to enjoy being America's majority race. But come 2045, the white population will make up less than 50 percent of the American population for the first time ever.

Biggest Right-Wing Fear Regarding Equality? Losing Their Supremacy
Quoted Text
In the days when women sought the right to vote and then later African-Americans, but were told no… why? Not because they weren’t citizens, but because they were made to feel inferior by a bunch of white men who wanted to stay superior.
Why do these legislators want to control what women can and can’t do with their bodies? Because they want to feel superior.
Now, the latest battle for equality is for the rights of LGBT citizens. Citizens who should be treated equally under the law, but they are still pushed down and told no, you can’t do this or that, because some people still feel the need to feel superior.
These individuals who have such a large superiority complex (an attitude of superiority that conceals actual feelings of inferiority and failure) are losing that feeling of control over others and they don’t like it one bit. Once LGBT individuals have equality who will be next to go after? I’m sure they’ll think of some group — they’re already shifting to hating people from Latin America.
And yes, it’s true, the majority of those with this superiority complex are self-identified straight, white, Christians. You’ll hear, “There’s a war on Christianity!” No, there isn’t.

good... Affirmative action should benefit my kids by then, as for me, I will most likely be dust...

Affirmative action will only happen if discrimination against a group has taken place.

And you can bet it will....Nirvana among the races is a false hope. It hasn't happened in thousands of years, what makes us think it will magically happen now, or in the future?

Blacks are over represented in pro basketball compared to their representation as a percentage of the population. We should see more diverse basketball teams in the future.

I am hopeful that race hatred will diminish as younger generations moves forward. It seems to be much less of a problem today with younger people than in the past. Acceptance of race, gay rights, and civil rights in general are less of a problem in a much more diverse America. I don't think that race hatred will ever disappear, but it's seemed to be much less of an issue just in my lifetime.

As this movement takes place the remaining whites who hold onto the belief that it is "their" country probably will not go quietly into the goodnight. As they feel they are being pushed aside by this change,or to the "back of the bus" I'm sure some will resist and may become "agitated". This is why the mantra of "embrace diversity" is being touted/preached by politicians, religons, and the like. For if we do not embrace the coming gradual change there may be hot spots of civil war over this change. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail and there are ample reasons to forego any violence. There is enough of many things in this country for all, albeit the distribution of said wealth is disproportinate at times.
It's sad that people believe things will change because of a demographic shift. Electoral politics really don't matter. The handful of people that control the resources, control the financial system, and have controlled them for over a century, is not going to change. The boards of directors on Wall St are not going to change. Those that control the wealth will not change. I know voting makes people all warm and fuzzy inside, but it does absolutely nothing to change who controls the wealth of a nation. The wealth managers of the country will just corrupt and buy political leaders to reflect the new majority. And the cycle continues....

This thread isn't about electoral politics. It's about the coming white minority, and it's impact on society. Did you mistake this thread for another?

Nope, responding off of Moonglow's post. Is that ok to do?
OF course... but since you didn't quote or refer to Moonglow's post, it appeared to be one of your random rants.
