Peter Franz Schweizer  is an American author, academic, and political consultant.
He is currently the president of the Government Accountability Institute, and is a former William J.
Casey Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution. He is Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large.
(In other words, he's a Right Wing Hack)

The following is how reporters have described Schweizer's work:
Quoted Text
"Incorrect," "inaccurate,"
"bogus," "a fatal shortcoming in Journalism 101," "the facts didn't stand up," "unfair and
inaccurate," "specious argument," "there was nothing there," "suspicious," "the facts don't fit,
" facts "do not check out," sources "do not exist or cannot be tracked down," "confusion and
contradiction," "discrepancies," "admitted a mistake," "neither journalism nor history,"
"a polemic so unchecked ... that we can't tell the fact from the fiction," sources "have clearly
used him," and "tacitly conced[ed] he was wrong."

Impugn the author...Don't challenge the evidence...Good move box.

I'm sure box will be umpugning the author when he releases his book about JEB'S finances.

I'm sure this political hatchet man will make  money from the Hillary book and will make money from
the Jeb book.
Lies are easy and when you have no credibility, you can just make it up as he did in the past...
then a year later, issue an OOPS! and a retraction:
An example:

Schweizer Claimed Al Gore "Receives $20,000 A Year In Royalties" From A Zinc Mine. In an August 10, 2006, USA Today op-ed, Schweizer attacked Al Gore for "hypocrisy" and a lack of "credibility," writing: "Humanity might be 'sitting on a ticking time bomb,' but Gore's home in Carthage is sitting on a zinc mine. Gore receives $20,000 a year in royalties from Pasminco Zinc, which operates a zinc concession on his property. Tennessee has cited the company for adding large quantities of barium, iron and zinc to the nearby Caney Fork River." [USA Today, 8/10/06]

USA Today Correction: Schweizer's Reporting Was "Inaccurate." USA Today subsequently attached a correction to Schweizer's piece, writing: "Correction: In this column that appeared Aug. 10 on the Forum Page, writer Peter Schweizer inaccurately stated that former vice president Al Gore receives royalties from a zinc mine on his property in Tennessee despite his environmental advocacy. He no longer does, as the mine was closed in 2003." [USA Today, 8/17/06]

Schweizer's GAI Released Data Claiming Obama Skipped More Than Half Of His Presidential
Daily Briefings. The Washington Post wrote in 2012 of research by Schweizer's Government
Accountability Institute.

Wash. Post: GAI's Data Is "Bogus." The Washington Post's Fact Checker blog examined a political ad
that used GAI's report and strongly criticized GAI's data, awarding the briefings claim "Three Pinocchios".

Wash. Post: By This Standard, Reagan Missed 99 Percent Of His Briefings. The Post wrote: "As it turns out,
no president does it the exact same way. Under the standards of this ad, Republican icon Ronald Reagan
skipped his intelligence briefings 99 percent of the time." [Washington Post, 9/24/12]

ABC News: The Report "Appears To Be More A Matter Of Semantics Than Hard Fact." ABC News wrote that
the GAI report "appears to be more a matter of semantics than hard fact" and quoted White House officials
stating that "Obama has never 'skipped' a Presidential Daily Briefing, aides say, even if an in-person briefing

The Lie:
Schweizer Claimed Obama And Health And Human Services Secretary Had "Just One" Meeting
Together In Three-And-A-Half Years. Schweizer wrote a Politico Magazine piece -- headlined,
"When Barry Met Kathy: Almost never, it turns out" -- claiming his organization could only find one
instance where the president and the former Health and Human Services secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, met.
The truth:
Quoted Text
The problem? Sebelius and the President did meet-- a lot. "She is frequently at the White
House for meetings related to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, including dozens
with the President in the last year alone," says Joanne Peters, a spokeswoman for HHS. "In fact,
she met with the President just yesterday."

The problem with Schweizer's analysis is his data set: Cabinet Secretaries who regularly come to
the White House are not always recorded in the White House visitors log or listed on the president's
public schedule. But Schweizer, a former foreign policy adviser to Sarah Palin and a fellow at the
Hoover Institution, a conservative think tank, based the column on an analysis of the official presidential
schedule and a presidential calendar published by Politico. [Time.com, 12/6/13]

There are dozens of incidents of Schweizer's reporting to be lies, half lies or drawn from inaccurate sources.

His book will sell, as the Right feeds on his BS.
His books will sell as the Left feeds on his BS.

Either way, he gets rich, the public gets lies!

Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation as Russians Pressed for Control of Uranium Company

The headline in the website Pravda trumpeted President Vladimir V. Putin’s latest coup, its nationalistic fervor recalling an era when its precursor served as the official mouthpiece of the Kremlin: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.”

The article, in January 2013, detailed how the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West. The deal made Rosatom one of the world’s largest uranium producers and brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain.

But the untold story behind that story is one that involves not just the Russian president, but also a former American president and a woman who would like to be the next one.

At the heart of the tale are several men, leaders of the Canadian mining industry, who have been major donors to the charitable endeavors of former President Bill Clinton and his family. Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One.

Beyond mines in Kazakhstan that are among the most lucrative in the world, the sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States. Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.

At the time, both Rosatom and the United States government made promises intended to ease concerns about ceding control of the company’s assets to the Russians. Those promises have been repeatedly broken, records show.

The New York Times’s examination of the Uranium One deal is based on dozens of interviews, as well as a review of public records and securities filings in Canada, Russia and the United States. Some of the connections between Uranium One and the Clinton Foundation were unearthed by Peter Schweizer, a former fellow at the right-leaning Hoover Institution and author of the forthcoming book “Clinton Cash.” Mr. Schweizer provided a preview of material in the book to The Times, which scrutinized his information and built upon it with its own reporting...

Schweizer Cash

Peter Schweizer, author of the much-discussed book Clinton Cash, is the president of the Government
Accountability Institute, a group “with close ties to a billionaire family funding Sen. Ted Cruz’s presidential
run” and one that “has also received substantial support from groups backed by Charles and David Koch.”

For Hillary Clinton, Scandals Have Achieved Critical Mass

Ethics: With each day, new revelations call into question Hillary Clinton's behavior during her tenure as secretary of state and after. It's time for her to suspend her campaign and start answering questions.

When even the left-wing media notice a leading Democrat's apparent ethical lapses, she has a real problem. And so does the Democratic Party, which as of now has all its bets for 2016 placed on Hillary Clinton, who, Peter Schweizer's upcoming book "Clinton Cash" suggests, may have engaged in corrupt behavior in office.

The latest revelation is a potential bombshell: That while Clinton was secretary of state, a federal committee approved the $610 million sale of Wyoming-based uranium mines to Russia's state atomic energy agency, Rosatom, as it tried to corner the market for the radioactive mineral.

Clinton's State Department was one of those that approved the deal. That's not illegal, but there's a conflict: The chairman of Uranium One, the Canadian company that sold the uranium mines to Russia, was Ian Telfer, who gave $2.4 million to the Clinton Foundation.

That's not all. The New York Times notes that a Russian investment bank that was behind the deal paid Bill Clinton $500,000 for a speech in Moscow.

It also should be noted that the Wyoming mine is no small operation, and that Rosatom makes nuclear weapons, among other things. So national security is at stake.

Nor is this the only whiff of potential scandal emanating from the Clinton Foundation.

Starting in 2010, the Clinton charity told the IRS for three years running that it got nothing from foreign or U.S. governments. That was strange, since in years past it had reported tens of millions in contributions.

Oops! Now they've found "errors" in their IRS reports, and want to refile. Seems they now remember that a number of foreign governments gave them tens of millions of dollars during that time.

Coming on the heels of other major scandals involving Bill and Hillary Clinton, a mosaic of corruption is falling into place that's beyond troubling and might even require a special criminal investigation.

Just this week, Judicial Watch said it has received 126 pages of State Department documents that relate to possible conflicts of interest while Hillary was our nation's top diplomat. In particular, it cites "questions about funds Clinton accepted from entities linked to Saudi Arabia, China and Iran, among others."

Need we mention the troubling questions Hillary Clinton refuses to answer about her private email server used to handle State Department business — and her willful destruction of evidence requested by Congress?

Or her patent falsehoods about what happened at Benghazi, where four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were murdered?

Or past ethical lapses left over from Bill Clinton's presidency — including Chinagate, Travelgate, Whitewater, Filegate and the miracle of Hillary's turning $1,000 into $100,000 in just 10 months of commodities trading?

Instead of going on the stump and blaming the 1% for all the world's ills, maybe she should stop running and start answering.

The liberal group 'Common Cause' demands Clinton Foundation audit.

Common Cause Urges Independent Audit of Donations to Clinton Foundation

Citing concerns about potential conflicts of interest and the influence of hidden overseas donors, Common Cause called on presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton and the Clinton Foundation today to commission an independent and thorough review of all large donations to the foundation and to release the results.

"As Mrs. Clinton herself observed earlier this week, voluntary disclosure is not enough," said Common Cause President Miles Rapoport. "A report in Thursday's New York Times indicates that the Clinton Foundation violated an agreement to identify all of its donors. The foundation's omissions create significant gaps in the information that voters need to make informed decisions at the polls."

To ensure that the audit is complete, Rapoport said the foundation should enter into a contractual agreement with auditors to open its books fully and to make public the complete report of their review.

And to further guard against potential conflicts of interest, the foundation should stop accepting donations from foreign governments and foreign corporations, he said.

"There already is too much 'dark money' in our elections, in the form of spending by supposedly independent nonprofit groups that are not required to disclose their donors and operate as sort of shadow campaigns," Rapoport said. "The Clinton Foundation and any other foundations tied to a candidate or his or her family provide one more way for potential donors to gain access and curry favor from candidates — without the public knowing about it. That lack of transparency creates a clear risk of undue influence and conflicts of interest."

While the Clinton Foundation has garnered headlines this week, Rapoport noted that at least one other apparent presidential hopeful, Republican Jeb Bush, has close ties to a foundation. The former Florida governor created the Foundation for Excellence in Education and last year turned over its leadership to former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice; it should initiate and make public the same kind of independent review Common Cause is recommending for the Clinton Foundation, Rapoport said.

Though Mrs. Clinton has severed ties with the Clinton Foundation, her husband and daughter remain active in its operations.

"Six years ago, at Mrs. Clinton's confirmation hearing for her appointment as secretary of state, then-Sen. Dick Lugar observed that 'that foreign governments and entities may perceive the Clinton Foundation as a means to gain favor with the secretary of state.' He was right, and his remarks remain relevant today as Mrs. Clinton seeks the presidency," Rapoport said.

In 2011, Schweizer, a BigGovernment.com contributor, appeared on End Times conspiracy theorist Rick Wiles’ “Trunews” program to discuss the allegations, defending Breitbart’s role in the Sherrod affair and repeating discredited talking points about a supposed cover-up and a black-vote-buying scheme championed by Obama.

Schweizer defended Breitbart by saying the conservative media star “didn’t see the original” video of Sherrod’s remarks and “apologized for that,” adding that “the principle was still there, that there was selective justice taking place.” He also agreed with Breitbart’s false claim that the administration only “went after” Sherrod as a result of the Pigford episode: “What we believe happened is that when Sherrod became the public figure as a result of this incident, it gave people a peek at Pigford.”

“Why was there this amazing reaction to this incident? Why was Shirley Sherrod such a hot figure, as it were, that the White House itself intervened and wanted to drop it so quickly? And we believe it was because they did not want attention given to Pigford,” he said. Several months before the interview, the Los Angeles Times reported that USDA emails at the time show that the deceptive video and the resulting conservative media firestorm were the causes of Sherrod’s ousting.

Schweizer also wondered why Obama, then a “senator from Illinois where there are only, as far as we can tell, maybe a handful of black farmers, and of course he comes from an urban background, he’s not a rural senator,” had such a “long and personal interest in Pigford” and wrote letters “to the USDA telling employees to shut up about the fact that they believed there was widespread corruption

HUH! No Jeb Bush BOOK After All!

Journalists have suggested that conservative author Peter Schweizer's forthcoming book
attacking Hillary Clinton is more credible because he will follow it up with a similar book examining
Jeb Bush. But according to his publisher, no such book is in the works: Schweizer's reporting on
Bush will be published on the website of his non-profit organization.
