OK. I may have posted this before but if you haven't seen this video, please give it a try.
Twice I've taken the Whirlpool JetBoat ride on the Niagara River. It's the most fun I've ever had (with my clothes on). You get aboard at Niagara on The Lake on the Canadian side. Forget the covered boat, that's for old ladies and whimps. The JetBoat we were on had 3, 650 hp Volvo Penta jet engines, and you needed them all for the ride up "devils hole" rapids. NOTE: the rain slickers are used to keep you warm on the ride, not to keep you dry. You will be just as wet with or without the slickers... totally drenched as if you jumped overboard. If you have some time and are visiting Niagara Falls, give it a try!
