Who Pays The Most NY Income Tax?
Those who make between $18,000 and $99,000 (middle income) pay the most tax.
Who pays the lowest NY Income Tax?  Those making over $604,000 (The Wealthy Of Course)

Just vote for the other party.  You know, the republicans.  They will surely create "equality".

Vote-vote-vote!  That will change everything!

Don't vote for anyone.  You know, no one.  That will surely solve the problems.

Don't Vote-don't vote-don't vote!  That will fix everything!

I fixed it for you!

has anyone done their own taxes? If you use turbo tax and you take the 'long way' to doing your taxes the questions are freaking bizarre

Do you own a plane?
How much fuel did you buy?
Do you own a boat?
How much fuel did you buy?
What Burrough do you live in?

and there are a bunch of other questions that a whole lot of upstaters don't have to answer....most of the questions for NYS tax
credits are FOR DOWNSTATE........and the jet setters....

FLAT TAX
FLAT TAX
FLAT TAX
FLAT TAX

Look how well that Zephyr Teachout did upstate in the primary. New York only has one party at the state level. What kind of Democrat bashes unions, bashes teachers, gives tax breaks to wealthy cronies, tries to get the Occupiers arrested, etc?
New York State tax brackets start at zero, I believe. People need to wake up and stop the Dems vs. Reps or conservative vs. liberal nonsense, and seewhat is really going on.

It's theft in a grand scale, with a theatrical performance every few years with audience participation.  It's like going to watch a Rocky Horror Picture Show.

His dad Mario, authored NY's largest tax cut (to that date) with his "New York-New York" tax plan.
Like father like son!

The plan would be phased in over three years

Quoted Text
income tax credit for renters

Quoted Text
reducing the corporate income tax rate to 6.5 percent, from 7.1 percent.

Quoted Text
raising the estate tax exemption to $5.25 million, from $1 million,

Quoted Text
local governments to consider consolidating with their neighbors,

Quoted Text
provide a tax rebate equal to the increase in a homeowner’s property tax bill for two years, tantamount to a freeze. His office said the rebate would save the average homeowner $350 per year. The second year would be tied to municipalities’ demonstrating “concrete steps” toward sharing services — though local governments say they have been aggressive in cutting costs and sharing services.

Quoted Text
a tax credit prompted by how much of a homeowner’s income goes toward property taxes, an arrangement known as a circuit breaker

Quoted Text
These are tiny marginal temporary savings,” Mr. McMahon said. “They won’t do anything to speak of for the economy. They are meant to increase the ability of the governor and Legislature to say they reduced your property taxes.”

what I find amusing is that they play with us...just like a kid would play with an ant hill redirecting the ants and foiling their attempts
at organization....

so if the government finds itself so smart using terms like 'circuit breaker' 'credits' 'consolidation' 'rebates' 'phased in' 'raising or lowering
exemptions'......then what we have is just as bad as the 'towns, villages, districts' that the governor talks about.....

bottom line....IT SHOULDN'T BE THAT FU(KING COMPLICATED,,,,except for the fact of our lawyer/banker-legislator/gangsters....

Yes, he did...And even after all those awesome "tax cuts", NY is still the highest taxed state in the Union.  Congrats!
