Updated: Sunday, December 21 2014, 05:31 PM EST ALBANY - Four State Legislators are planning on introducing new legislation aimed at keeping officers better protected in NY State. Assemblyman Jim Tedisco along with Senator Phil Boyle, Senator Marty Golden, and Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis are asking to use funds from the 5.1 billion surplus to install bullet proof glass on all police cars. This in response to two New York City Police officers, Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, who where shot and killed in a Brooklyn neighborhood on Saturday That gunman, shortly after the shooting according to officials, took his own life in a subway station. “If it is good enough for high-ranking government officials and dignitaries to ride around in cars with bullet-proof glass, then it should be for our cops who put their lives on the line and are being tracked down and murdered like prey. We are proposing state legislation to begin to retrofit all law enforcement vehicles in New York State with the best protective bullet proof glass for all windows,” said Tedisco.
This is a very sad incident....but isn't it time to question the utopia made by the hippies????? they legislate from podiums
to get the 'feel good' votes to get re-elected and not really doing much of anything except eating from the taxpayer
trough....

and it's okay if someone gets killed IN AMERICA for that....it used to be that only in 'war' on other countries' soil were humans
killed for the greater good of America....
