And probably one of the best promotional game trailers in the last few years.

CCP asked the player base to submit voice recordings of their various activities ( we mostly use TeamSpeak 3 or Ventrilo voice communication software )....A 'Call to Arms' they called it.

So, for the last few months, scores of recordings were submitted. CCP took those recordings, selected what they wanted and reversed engineered them into a (mostly)CGI cinematic trailer.

Even though this is in a cinematic format, the game rendering actually looks like this and no enhancements were made to make it look better than what it really is.

I hope you enjoy this very tiny slice of what I have been playing since '06...I also recommend viewing this in full screen 1080p and turning your speakers up because the music score is really good.

Not my thing at all but great graphics.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

*Cues up 'Origins' cinematic trailer*

This trailer is NOT a representation of actual gameplay.....But it's pretty cool.

They have been constantly updating graphics quality over the last two years, starting with the background art and now just finishing with the ship models.

It's only going to get better....

Now, come Dec 9, they start all over by introducing "Physically Based Rendering".

Quoted Text
“Physically Based Rendering” is a term for cutting edge rendering methods that closely model how real light bounces off different surfaces. Rendering ship models and lights using this approach results in materials and surfaces that look more realistic and light that falls and reflects beautifully.

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
