The Republican House then voted... I think it was 54 times, to end that law, but failed to gain the necessary votes in the Senate to kill ObamaCare.
False. Harry Reid never ever never put any type of Obamacare repeal bill up for a vote.

Yes. ObamaCare passed both houses and was signed into law. The Republican House then voted... I think it was 54 times, to end that law, but failed to gain the necessary votes in the Senate to kill ObamaCare. To my knowledge, there was no Obama Veto involved in any of those proceedings.
They do now have the necessary votes to kill ObamaCare. It will be interesting to see if they again attempt to end it.
Ok, so you admit that the past 6 years, democrats controlled which legislation was passed and signed into law, and the widening gap between Rich and poor were a result of democrat controlled legislation.

Did I really admit that??? I must have missed that part of my post!
The GOP controlled the House, of course, but you already knew that. This GOP House seemed to pride itself on passing nothing.

2014 was the year of the disappearing GOP promise to propose a plan to replace the Affordable Care Act. It was the only way that they could plausibly keep telling their base that they would repeal the thing. Then-House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) said it would be part of the party's agenda at the beginning of the year. By the end of the year, no bill had ever gotten a vote. The just-around-the-bend nature of the Republican alternative health care plan became a running joke among the health care press corps.

Obama did propose the alternative affordable care act when he was pitching it to the public. Then it was passed and the REAL Act was implemented. It was a complete alternate than the bill of goods that was being sold. Luckily Americans are ignorant.

I'm sorry, but I'm unclear on your point. Are you saying that any proposal a candidate makes before being elected is exactly how that bill would have to be passed in final vote? Wouldn't any Presidential candidate propose the best outline of a plan, (in their opinion), then refine it if elected to office, and eventually passed as a version of the original proposal as edited and revised within the two chambers? If not, then I interpret your comment as meaning the President should bypass senate and house, make a plan the way he wants it to be, then pass it with Executive privilege. I believe that's called a dictatorship.
JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!! JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!

No, not candidate Obama, President Obama was selling his signature legislation the ACA his first year in office. And it was completely different after passage. "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor...period" - ummmm...not true.
I'm saying the president that signs legislation that is different than the legislation he was describing to the public for a year leading up to it being signed into law, he must have been pitching the alternate ACA legislation.

So you believe he should have vetoed the ACA sent for his signature and invoked Executive privilege to enact a bill that was exactly as he had been "pitching"! Yup, you wanted a dictator.

No, he should have pitched the legislation that he intended to sign. You know, he should have said many Americans will lose their doctors, and many peoples premiums will increase. Not pitch some other legislation that claimed nobody will lose their doctor, and premiums will go down by $2500 a year. And if the legislation did not reflect what he said publicly, then he should have sent it back until it did what he said it would do.
Yup, you want a liar and a dictator. Not only did he lie, about his signature legislation, he ignored the letter of the law by invoking executive privilege and issued waivers and delayed the implementation of the act. None of with allowed people to keep their doctors or lower their premium by $2500.

correct.....I work in healthcare and it isn't about making it 'affordable' because that's a moot point....it's about consolidation control and regulation.....oh, they will use pretty words but the public is to ignorant to know the difference.....
there IS an 'end of the line' in the ACA....
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

You reword it and same the same thing...guess reality is not a world you live in. Word anyway you want, but it's an absurd and unrealistic interpretation.

On the subject of 114th Congress, within 3 initial proposals on the floor, wants to cut Social Security Disability Benefits by 20% (of course, picking on the weakest, most vulnerable citizens in the United States who haven't the wherewithal to even know their futures are on the cutting block) receive an average of SSI (Social Security Insurance) individual is receiving $532.06/mo, whereas person on SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) receives $941.00/mo.
Cutting Corporate Welfare??? LMAO! Not the GOP!
