Maybe they will in and when traffic to the mall picks up again.... |

Broadway is losing the Stewarts at Fairview and now CVS from the same block.
Broadway should be renamed vacant storefront road.
Broadway hill is moving up into Rotterdam.... time to move out....the city is brimming with downstate derelicts and overflowing into rotterdam...Walmart being proof... and when all the CVS/Riteaide/Walmart pharmacies become full fledged clinics....THE SH!T WILL HIT THE FAN.... Ellis Hospital will be a Hilton Hotel compared the neighborhoods the clinics will be in...... We are a time where technology will leave A LOT of people with nothing to do to earn $$ and the school systems and social networks for work/money/food/housing etc are very far behind the 8 ball....it WILL get worse before it gets better.... |

those people have hobbies helping the poor.....through church/politics/programs etc etc...which is fine but don't fu(k it up for everyone..... I will say that amount of low wage jobs in Schenectady is large and there is a giant corporate club Employee Assistant Program.. very very very sad the vacuum of our current situation. they don't empower anyone....they just keep making them 'more comfortable' than they believe they are so that their low wage doesn't bother them...... good intentions? I don't know..... |

Yup... last Saturday I saw crews on the roof of the old sunrise market taking shingles and tar paper off, probably clearing Absestos, etc. |
