I can understand how you see the difference between "rights" and entitlements as twisted bull$hit.  Though factual by definition - it's still twisted in your warped mind.

Joey, all you have to say is that you believe people are entitled to medical insurance.  Just don't call the ACA affording people a "right", it's affording people an entitlement.

Your words and never mine!

And yet there are still millions without health insurance.

March 16, 2015
USA Today

The number of American adults without health insurance fell 16.5 million from five years ago, when Obamacare was signed into law, the largest drop in four decades, a new report says.

The report, released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Monday, says the uninsured rate is 13.2%, down from 20.3% in 2012-13.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7.1% fewer are uninsured.

That still leaves approximately 30 million uninsured.

We spent trillions overhauling the medical insurance industry to insure one third of those who have no insurance.

Epic failure.

Only one third of the targeted group became covered.

Even if they covered twice as many as they did from the 45 million uninsured, it would still be a failure..

The Libertarian plan for health care reform:
"Just go somewhere and die".  That's it!

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

you don't want to pay for the person who smokes....you said they can smoke but you don't want to pay for it....

health 'care' also covers those who eat fast food or box mac&cheese as a regular diet....you paying for that?

or is it OK with you that government health 'care' is also given power to coerce humans to make other choices either
through monetary penalties or with held medical intervention, including with holding drugs and forcing psych interventions...?

you can't have it both ways.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

“In one sense, you could argue that the libertarian wing of the Republican Party barely exists
at all. According to a large Pew Research survey in 2014 of 10,000 respondents, 11 percent
of Americans and 12 percent of self-identified Republicans considered themselves libertarian.
They met a basic threshold for knowing what the term meant. But there wasn’t much ‘libertarian’
about these voters; over all, their views were startlingly similar to those of the public as a whole.”

Many of the voters most receptive to libertarian views tend not to vote.”

Georgia Crusader Against Motorcycle Helmets
Dies Tragically In Motorcycle Crash

Former State Senator Joey Brush was a fierce advocate for the right NOT to wear
motorcycle helmets when on the roads. During his years in the state Senate,
his key issues were the helmet laws and a change to state laws concerning traffic
light sensors.

Brush, 59, died after a car pulled out in front of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle on
Columbia Road about 8:30 a.m.

If he was wearing a helmet, he may still be alive, brain dead, and on life support.  Silly senator....Only if he knew what was good for him.

Yes, and you'd be paying for his reckless behavior, because it's his "right".

Either way, we (not you) as taxpayers would be paying for his behavior.

The medical bills would go to the person that incurred them, and would go into collections if the person cannot pay.  If the person is unable to pay because they are in a coma or unable to work, they can sell asset to pay for their medical care, or file bankruptcy.  Luckily now, there are healthy 18 to 29 year olds paying the bills for them.  No behavior too risky now, somebody else will compensate me and pay for my risks.

You make about as much sense as Rand Paul (the slave).

I didn't know paying for your own medical bills was that confusing for you.  You only understand "we" pay for each others medical bills.

Cissy POSTS about "paying his own medical bills"... but the truth is, Cicero would opt not to carry any
health insurance... then stick the bill on the state when he has an expensive medical bill.
