The Rotterdam Police Department received a call for a suspicious vehicle in the area of Broadway around 5 p.m. Tuesday. According to police, a 14-year-old female was approached by a black male driving a red Hyundai Elantra. The girl said the driver pulled up to her and asked if she wanted to get into his vehicle. The female then fled the area on food and notified police, according to authorities. Police said they checked the area but did not locate the vehicle. The driver is described as a black male, 35-40 years old, with shaved hair and wearing a short-sleeved gray shirt.
