I realize on the surface it's a dumb question, because who the heck IS in favor of it? Still after being on this site a bit I've noticed it practiced to some degree.
Now, full disclosure. I'm Alva White and I WAS a bully. A cyber-bully to be precise. Oh I had my time as a kid where I would be a bully, but nothing like what I became.
This was in the days of Usenet forums. Not only was I a bully, I was a GREAT bully. I was the Grand Poo-bah of bullies. I did things that I'm truly embarrassed by. I stalked, harassed, tyrannized, browbeat, tormented, intimidated and did other despicable things. My bullying would make what mikechristine does, look like they're heaping praise on DV. Believe me when I say this. You would not have wanted me on your case.
But I woke up one day and looked at myself in the mirror (that alone scared me. When the hell did I get old?) and asked myself why? To what end? And in that moment I realized what a jerk I'd become. I really wasn't a very good human to be treating others the way I did. And I changed.
Now if being a bully is a thing you enjoy, or if you enjoy watching some one being bullied, well, that is your right.
I will point out though my feelings about it. That's my right.
You don't have to be a jerk to make a point.

Bullying is made up. Especially the cyber bullying of anonymous people. Bullying(harassment) needs to be addressed by emotionally preparing those that are bullied(harassed).
Bullying was resolved generations ago. "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me".

I compare the "bullying" claimed on this board to the prototypical 90lb weakling walking in to a gym in a strip mall. The muscleheads might make fun of the "weakling", but the weakling is free to find another gym. As long as the "bullying" ends at the gym or does not get physical, the "bullying" is not that under the law.

Here's another example for you... Two groups protesting on either sides of an issue.. BOTH saying derogatory things about each other to each other, doesn't matter who started it first... is this bullying? Absolutely not.. it's called free speech...

Uh, I agree, but that's not what I'm talking about. You just kind of made of made my point. What's going on between mike and DV is NOT two dissenting groups, but rather two individuals. And from where I'm sitting it's clearly harassment and has nothing to do with a discussion at all. And from what I'm reading on this forum now and going back four years apparently what DV is claiming is true. Mike HAS brought DV's family into this. The fake accounts, meh, I don't know about that, so I won't discuss that. I've seen some of mikes photo handiwork, and I've seen photos apparently of DV's home. No my friend, that goes a little bit farther than groups hurling insults across the street. That's stalking and harassment in my book, not just bullying.
You and I have been having discussions all day. Sometimes a bit heated. I doubt either one of us is going to spend the next four years harassing each other.
Since you say you're against bullying I'll put you in the against column. Sorry for mis-reading you.

Well I'm using the definition from the dictionary. And I do agree on the "sticks and stones thing", and if this was only "sticks and stone", it probably wouldn't be an issue. But. (and I'm once again speaking to the mike/DV thing)
It's not. It's gone WAY beyond that. I think you'd have agree on that. In fact I think somewhere you DID mention something to the effect the whole mike referring to DV in every post was becoming annoying.
And I have to apologize for the misleading title of the thread. It should have been "Mike bullying DV - For or Against".

I've been on this board since 2009 (hard to believe it's been that long), I can't recall ever seeing a picture of DV's house, or one labeled as such. I know Dv's name but won't post it here...based on his posts, I probably could have guessed it if I didn't know it. DV, IMHO, is/was definitely using other accounts on this board..writing style and phrasing habits are hard to break.. I do remember a song parody a long while back involving DV, but I don't think MC1 had anything to do with that.
I don't assume to know who started what, but I will tell you, DV is not a babe in the woods...I've seen him give as good as he got on several occasions. None of what I've seen even comes close to harassment and stalking, at least not in a legal sense. You would not believe what has to happen to get into that realm...specifically coming from matrimonial examples.

Oh I agree on that. Like I've said, I've been reading back a few years, so I am aware of some of the history. It does seem to me though he's at least made more of an attempt towards being civil than mike has, at least since I've been around.
I guess we disagree somewhat on the legal end, but that's ok. I'll keep you in the against bullying column.

with MC1 and DV it is NOT topic based....it's the same theme with MC1 regardless of the topic... cut-n-paste; bash rich people; moan and groan; absolve themselves of the same things they accuse others of; etc. Go back and look...NOT TOPIC related, sorry...that's my honest evaluation/opinion.
With Box and Cissy/L4L, there's no bullying at all...it's back and forth disagreements and retorts.

I have stated on many occasions that you were using electronic communications to personally harass and annoy me.
