They aren't begging - they are asking.  If YOU don't want to give than don't give.  Those of us who do give to REMS do so because we like to support an IN COMMUNITY ambulance service, founded by members of our community and staffed by members of our community.  It really is NONE of yours or anyone else's business that we support it vocally and financially.

there is insurance billing....I've seen it....it's cumbersome and a company should hire proficient people to collect what
they worked for....it's like doing your taxes in reverse when putting in an insurance claim,

ESP IF ITS MEDICARE....what an f'en joke

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

"Aunties, can I have some money?   Please!   Please!    Please!"   [stomping his feet]

Gee, wants a separate ambulance company just for the town, but then he is a big cheerleader for consolidation.

I do understand they are not a government entity now, but IF they can't collect enough money to operate, then what?   DV says "consolidation saves money."   HYPOCRITE

Not taking sides.   Just sayin'

rems should be ashamed of themselves!!! Taking money from it's residents when in fact if they knew how to run a businesses, they wouldn't have to beg!!! And rems uses the good ole 'fear rhetoric' that women and children are going to be dying in the streets!!!

It's all a bunch of bullcrap. And ROTTENdamian's that falls for the scam and give rems money, is proof positive that ROTTENdam is nothing more than an illiterate redneck uneducated town.

Doesn't FDG know how to run a business  - they should hire him as a consultant

If YOU don't want to give than don't give.  Personally, I think REMS is worth contributing to.

do a little more research and you won't want to donate......

they have to hire a pitbull to make sure they the $$ from the government that the government INSISTS it is better
at managing for us....the government doesn't want to pay because the public complains of fraud....

it's a drop in a bucket, the amount of money that is 'fraud', the government comes in and labels ANYTHING as fraud
if they need money or a podium puck jesus for the election time. Most are just common mistakes because the
billing language is JUST AS BAD AS INCOME TAX LANGUAGE WHERE THE GOVERNMENT CAN SHOW UP AT YOUR
DOOR AND JUST TAKE YOUR SH!T!

'the people' think this is a good system, the government takes care of me AND polices for me. what the public
doesn't understand is that the government is POLICING THEM, NOT FOR THEM.

REMS needs to batten down the billing process, it's not that easy. The public wants a 'free government ambulance ride'

EXACTLY!!!!!!!

THERE WILL NOT/CANNOT be anymore 'free ambulance rides'!!!
All the begging for money will NEVER cover the costs to run a competent ambulance service!
Those are the FACTS!!!
ROTTENdam is just prolonging the inevitable.
They WILL consolidate!!!

you get a bill but the government doesn't like to pay (medicare and other insurances).....I'm not being hostile toward
anyone/thing except for the government.

as for REMS, it's a business. they already have respect, it's called MONEY. and they CHOSE to get into the business
of 'saving lives', much like a soldier CHOSE to be a soldier and unfortunately may get their foot blow off or worse a
messed up mind for all their effort.

I don't care who gets the contract, in the end it's a moot point with the Affordable Care Act and how different parts
of the 'healthcare system' get paid. consolidation and what each state does will be a major factor. NYS is very good
at micromanaging a company that falls under such government management as an ambulance service does and
can micromanage them right out of business unless the company has a pitbull for billing and a good system to fight the
government when it shows up to say "this doesn't look right so give us the money back".

I'm not propping up a business through my vote. simple.

I have done my research and think REMS is doing a great job.  My family has always supported community ambulance service.  My paternal grandfather helped to found the community ambulance service in his hometown and it is still going strong.   We need MORE community-based service organizations.

He doesn't understand taxes and how the government can take something from you.   He doesn't own anything.   He sponges of his two mommies because he's not adult enough to be a normal independent adult
