I would be interested in hearing what took place over both drivers radios if anything.

Not sure if they even have them in those races, either way the kid was stupid to walk across a active racetrack. Unless the car was burning he should have stayed put until given the ok.

I pretty much agree.

Just out of curiosity, who started this feud between DV and mikechristine1?  Because to be honest with you, and maybe it's just me, but I'm pretty much tired of it. Every thread they post in devolves into childish personal back and forth. Frankly, you both need to just STOP IT!!!!! It's not funny nor is it entertaining. If I want to experience this type of behavior, I'll go sit in a playground and listen to the 8 yr. olds go at it. Never thought I'd find something like that in a place where ADULTS are supposed to be discussing issues and such. Good grief.

I put him/her on ignore -- but recently, undid that feature in an attempt to try to have a civil discussion. Obviously, MikeChristine can not handle a civil discussion.

But YOU are the one, DV, who REFUSES to engage in ANY civil discussion.   A host of "let's discuss" threads to DISCUSS the city's tax base, the falling property values, reassessment, downtown (and it's impact on neighborhoods), economic development (in the city and what are the homeowners getting in return for their "investment"), so called "pilots" (and the fact that they are only a teeny fraction of the total tax bill, thus the city dems force financially struggling homeowners to make up the difference) and YOU, DV, have not engaged in even ONE WORD on those issues.

You did actually spew some nonsense babble on the thread about the unqualified assessor but you didn't say ONE WORD about the lack of qualifications which was the purpose of the discussion.

You post that Marcella is an honorable person, and since being provided with EVIDENCE that he is a TAX DEADBEAT, you not only refuse to engage in discussion, you cannot even post that you are wrong.

You post that taxes are lower now than in the 1970's, you are asked to explain HOW you come up with that statement and NEVER ONE WORD of a response.

You never post FACTS and support it with EVIDENCE, only copy and paste from either tabloids or from your dem party propaganda, ie., LIES.

Gee, still waiting for you to provide a link to the url of the FBI where you claimed crime in Schenectady was going down.

Your claim that it was "well lit" is not backed up by several facts.
#1) ESPN radio interviewed a person (with racing experience - not sure if he was driving that night) who was there that night and he talked about darkness being a factor.
#2) There are clearly lighter and darker spots on the track in the video -- and the incident occurred in what looks to be a darker spot on the track.

Only one way radio's and only via officials, not pit crews

But you have never been there.   You have no clue how light it is.   We have been there a couple times.

Well, it's the truth.   DV spews nonsense babble, and NEVER backs his statements up with facts (such as Marcella being an hohonorable person, such as any proof that taxes are lower now than in the 1970's, and going way back to his early days on these boards claiming that the FBI says crime in Schenectady was going down---that was probably the first time I asked him to provide proof i.e., the url to the FBI website where it stated that, he NEVER provided any proof, only spewed babble that we can go find it ourselves -- obviously he could not provide proof so he spews lies.

More on Winged Sprint cars:
Sprint cars don't have a transmission. They are either in gear or out of gear. The cars used to have
an in\out box (sometimes clutch-actuated), but now days, there is a t-handle on the end of a cable
that runs down to the rear end. The gears are in the rear end and if you pull the cable, the gears
disconnect.

Psst! Mike! Over here. Hey Buddy look up now. Yeah at the top of page. What's that read? Yeah that's right, the subject of the thread is "Tony Stewart Arrested", not "Tony Stewart Arrested but somehow we'll make sure it turns into a thread about DV and ourselves just to perpetuate this adolescent game a little longer". If you were in a bar or restaurant acting like this you'd be asked to "take it outside." That's all I'm through trying to point out to you how dumb you look to the adults on this board.

most adults on this board will use the "User Message Block" link

don't want to be bothered reading it? "block it"

self appointed thread moderators don't know how to use the aforementioned links ?

just ask the admin.

Did you have to look up those terms on the internet? That explains why you took so long to respond.

In the past, I have been to races at Lebanon Valley, Albany-Saratoga, Fonda, Daytona, Indianapolis and one out in central NY a number of years ago.  I never claimed to be an EXPERT.  I have been to races.  I have watched them on TV as well.  I have read and listened to commentary on the Stewart-Ward incident.  But I certainly have never claimed to be an expert.  Just trying to have a civil discussion like others on this board.

YOU are the one that insists on making everything personal and launching personal attacks.  Quite frankly, you are the one that comes across as mentally unstable and in need of anger management and some counseling to deal with your issues.

NO, I did NOT look up the types of cars.   I happen to know.   You cant even respond what cars drive at the tracks you allegedly have gone to.

As a 52 year old man who has not left the nest yet, who is not living as a normal adult in one's own house or rental, it is obvious you better talk some therapist and ask why you are unable to live as a normal adult man should.

52 year old "mama's boy" living with two substitute mommies for a several decades.   Failure to launch?
