A Christian Majority... Right?
What is the second largest religion by state?

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Let's be honest.

If Jesus was alive today, MSNBC and Rachel Maddow would call him a domestic terrorist soveign citizen.

Let's be honest....so would FOX and the rest of the LAME STREAM MEDIA JOKE!!!

Jesus was a Jew....and the LAME STREAM MEDIA seems to be having a field day bashing Israel.  (what a change of events, eh?

So Jesus would be fair game!!!!!

If jesus was born 30 years ago he would have handed everyone a fishing pole told them to get off their asses and catch
some fish and don't forget to help your neighbor if you feel they need it but DON'T let the pharisees tell you how/when or to
whom.....and take care of yourself and use your mind/body for good.

very simple and to the point......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

Why do you say that Cicero???
Jesus had no problem with both govt and religion (separation of church & state).
"Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's"
Jesus preached the opposite of a "domestic terrorist or one of your bffl sovereign citizens.

he also DID NOT promote the government taking care of people....he promoted neighborly people taking care of neighbors and
criticized the church for not promoting this.....

he had no use for the government and it's wars....he never elevated the government to a god-head and he certainly didn't believe
the church was a god-head......

it was that personal to him and warned about kneeling at ANY alter, government or otherwise as not a good thing.

I understand statists read that quote as an endorsement of government, but you are making assumptions that his words mean to accept Caesar and his money and his taxation.

But that’s reading an awful lot into a few words. Jesus wasn’t preaching to his followers at that moment; he certainly wasn’t preaching statism, let alone the authority of pagan emperors who claimed divinity and demanded idolatry. No, he was retorting to a trick question from his enemies, and he answered with a witty tautology. It might have been taken to mean, “Give Caesar everything he claims, and also give God his due.” But it could also mean, “Give Caesar nothing, and God everything.” Or it might mean something else; Jesus didn’t specify.

I actually agree with most of what you said above.
