I never said no government, I'm against the initiation of force.  Whether by an individual American, and a costumed goon who has a license to initiate force.

After your rants convincing people to accept the fact you must be compelled to act according to the states demands with the barrel of a gun, and how grateful everybody should be to be subjected to coercion through threats of violence, I propose that I point out what kind of authoritarian thuggery you subscribe to.  Maybe you will win the argument and people will enjoy living under surveillance, policing, indefinite detentions, forced health insurance, and droning and bombing whoever the government determines a threat to their power.

I wish you good luck on your campaign!

Cicero's view of the world:

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Avoided responding by misdirection...not clever, just usual Cissy game.
So let's see....lack of response means:
(A) Joebxr NEVER told Cissy to move to Somalia, so CISSY LIED!
(B) Cissy really doesn't "do something about it" except whine, so CISSY LIED!

JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!!

What is a Libertarian?
Don't ask them... they don't know either!

Quoted Text
According to the poll, self-described libertarians aren’t at all consistent on their positions on the
role of government, foreign policy and social issues. In fact, many take liberal positions. For example:

41% of libertarians believe that the government should regulate business.
46% of libertarians believe that corporations make too much profit.
38% of libertarians believe that government aid to the poor is good.
On social issues (on which libertarians are supposed to be live and let live):

42% (almost identical to the general population) believe that police should be able to stop and search
people who look like criminals.
26% think “homosexuality should be discouraged.”
And despite the expression that libertarians are Republicans who want to get high, 33% believe
marijuana should be illegal.

Now, in all of the above positions, libertarians are somewhat more likely to take the libertarian
stance, but in world affairs? They are less likely to take the classic libertarian stance, which is
anti-interventionism.

43% would like the U.S. to be more active in world affairs, as opposed to just 35% of the general
public.
46%, however, think the U.S. makes world problems worse and just 16% believe that privacy should
be given up.
There is one group that Pew believes more closely resembles libertarian values. They represent about
5% of the population and they are typically young. They are conservative on fiscal issues and
liberal on LGBT rights, immigration and are against military force. However, they also believe in
affirmative action and that environmental laws are a good thing.

Top Ten Ways to Talk to a Progressive  0
BY DAVE JONES ON     AUGUST 27, 2014 PHILOSOPHY

Find a point of agreement i.e., “Oh! You’re for gun control! So am I! I think it’s extremely important for gun owners to know how to control their weapons. “

Talk to them like adults. Many progressive ideas are based on kindergarten reasoning like: “Everyone should have a nice house, let’s buy everyone a nice house!” “You don’t want a baby? That’s okay, we’ll just make the baby go away.” “The president is like our teacher, he just wants the best for all the kids.” But remember, they are grown human beings.

Invoke Thomas Jefferson (the founder of the democrat party). “My favorite democrat was Thomas Jefferson who said, ‘The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as they are injurious to others.’”

Bring them back to Reason. Inevitably the Progressive will turn to the realm of Feelings. Gently persuade them to look at the argument reasonably: “I would feel better too if every child in America had three hot meals a day and a warm place to sleep every night, but rationally, is that possible?”

Reverse the argument. Most progressives see themselves as altruistic. Ask, “How much of your paycheck should go to people in need?” “50%? Great! So you would have no problem writing a check for your favorite charity for half your wages on payday!”

Muh roads! I concede this point (although I think privatization is a good idea). “I’ll give you government control of the roads, you give me deregulation of the free market system and no involvement in foreign wars.”

Avoid derogatory terms. We all know they are statists and libtards, but they really don’t like those names.

How much is enough? The progressive only sees the answer to this as “more.” Stay on point, “How much should a teacher make? A lunch lady? A janitor? How about an administrator? How about a member of the Board of Education?” Show them that more taxes do not equate to better service.

Lead them gently in the way of voluntary participation. Show them that rich people are not the beasts they perceive. Explain that the wealthiest people are the greatest philanthropists, and the greatest statists are the least.

Smoke a joint. If all else fails, and you live in Colorado or Washington, fire up a spliff and forget your differences. Elsewhere, beer also works.

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Yes, you use the "move to Somalia" argument.

BTW..I'm doing plenty about it.  You just have this notion that voting is "doing something".

Just like treating addiction, you first have to get the addict to admit they have an addiction.  That is the hardest part.  Many Americans don't want to take that first step. They are so caught up in the high of flag waving, American exceptionalism, militarism, and consumerism propaganda.

OH THERE ARE PLENTY OF FOLKS 'DOING SOMETHING'.....other than voting!!!
There really are many ways of turning your government around for the better.....other than voting.
More folks are waking up to that fact.
