Once again, when speaking of PIGMENTS:
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you!!!!!
It doesn't change the fact that mixed pigments create a medium that does not reflect light. A red pigment reflects red light, a blue pigment reflects blue light, and a black pigment reflects all the light? No...It reflects no light. Absence of light. |

No, my public school art teacher was the expert. He is the one that apparently gave me this misinformation. I'm not surprised. Damn school curriculum. |

really ? yu shuld stick to politics because it doesnt sound like yu know what yu are talking about. using the terms reflect and absorb can be somewhat confusing because the red pigment of the apple must first be absrbed by the pigment and then it is reflected back to eye. the black or darkness you refer to as the absence of light, such as a dark closet doesnt contain color/light. black pigment will still reflect back about 10 per cent of the light if it is in the light. |

Cicero doesn't know what he's talking about in politics too! |

Box was not speaking of pigments./
He said black is not the absence of color.
You guys just argue everything for the practice, even when you know it is wrong.

Black is the absence of color.
All the arguing in the world will not change that.
All the pigments in the world will not change the color of something that is absent of light.
You can't argue away an absolute.

And you self proclaimed geniuses will argue that a black hole is white.
And the black hole probably contains pigments, yet it is still black.
You should have taken physics, instead of typing.
Please tell us more about how a black hole isn't black, and is not the absence of light. |

Yes color is in the light. Black paint/pigment in the light is the color known as black. When there is no light then the color black becomes the absence of color. Where is ther argument ? |

You and Cissy van Gogh are the self-proclaimed geniuses/know-it-alls of this forum. I only posted "factual" information from sites that deal with the issues of colors and blending, etc. YOU ARE THE SELF PROCLAIMED GENIUS THAT REJECTS THEIR INFORMATION! |

The argument is that Box claimed that black is not the absence of light.]
You and Joey are very weakly attempting to justify his false statement using various interpretations.
For the 5th time; he stated black is not the absence of light.
But it is.
You can continue this argument if you like, but for me I feel you 3 are just being argumentative for the sake of arguing against a known fact. |

You are a "spitting" image of Cissy van Gogh...SOMEDBODY and I NEVER stated anything
inaccurate or wrong, only facts that discuss what black is. You and Cissy continue to
argue, ineffectively, in a diverted way! Should not have skipped those reading classes! |

First thing - the COLOR black is made with pigment . It is a COLOR second thing - The black you refer to is the absence of color. It is not the COLOR black. you are being ignorant |
