She was carrying her husband's petitions. Judicial races are open. Any Commissioner of Deeds can carry any petition. Ken Litz has REP, CONS, IND party endorsements. Let the machinists waste time.
And yeah it does matter. For once can have a REP countywide victory? Then maybe we can talk about turning this insane asylum around. Every judge should not be a former DA hand picked by the machine.

Former District Attorneys and staff attorneys from DA's offices can make excellent judges -- especially in criminal courts.  Also, attorneys who clerked in judges offices make excellent judges.  The vast majority of judges that I have personally known have served professionally and have NOT allowed partisan politics to encroach on their actions and decisions while serving as a judge.

Actually, all that I have known - which is many - except 1 have been professional and non-partisan.  And that one judge, I knew but never had a "positive vibe" about him so that his actions later on did not surprise me.
