I don't support Al Awlaki. All I know is he was on a capture or kill list for 18 months without a grand jury indictment and never charged with terrorism. Not supporting the death of iraqi's at the hands of the government is hating America? You see, the government isn't America, it's a government. I have a lot of friends and family that I love and enjoy, I'm not going to let the government's actions define the American people. Congress has a 9% favorable rating, and 60% of Americans distrust the Federal government. I'm not alone in separating government from society.

I blame The US government for the Iraqis killed or displaced caused by the invasion. I don't blame America.
I assume you would be fine with a foreign government like China bringing total war to America because they feel they need to free Americans from the surveillance state monitoring their electronic communications like the East German Stasi, and the fact the US government incarcerates their people at a higher rate than any nation on earth.
Oh, and while they "free Americans", they will make sure Chinese businesses sign contracts with the new government they prop up, to extract American natural resources.
