Yup you are right they were MINUTES from home, this shooting was over with in SECONDS which is when the people needed help. So I will ask again would you rather be armed or disarmed in this situation?

I would rather no one (Except the police) have assault weapons.
I would rather no one (Except the police) have large capacity magazines.
I would rather no one owned a gun with out registering it and was required to keep it secure.
I would rather no one owned a gun with out a background check similar to NY pistol permit.
I would rather no one could buy a pistol without a training class and mental evaluation.
YOU oppose all of these things.

I would rather be unarmed in this situation than to live my life in constant fear as you do.

Constant fear? nope I would say prepared, just like I have extra flashlights incase of a power outage. I guess box doesn't take any precautions in life, what a rebel LMAO

The police arrive to see a GunHugger with a gun in the parking lot.
I'm glad that the police didn't shoot and kill the GunHugger mistaking him for a criminal...
all over a purse. No one's life was in danger... the woman was not in danger...
but the GunHugger did manage to catch the criminals and not get shot in the process.

Saved the woman's purse containing her coupons, her lipstick and $4 plus change!
A Texas Hero!

Or her house and car keys , her drivers license, SS card, her money, her bank checks, credit cards. Who knows what financial damage could of been done if the robbers got away, stories like this where the robbers get away sometimes takes years for the victim to get it under control because of identity theft. Thank God a armed citizen was there when the police were minutes away

So this guy, in a crowded parking lot, draws his gun to stop the purse snatching.
So what if the criminals didn't stop...would he have shot them?
What if they got up from the ground and started to run...would he have shot them?
So now if he shot them, what would his charges be?

If Police had stopped the purse snatching in this mode, the haters on this forum
would be screaming excessive force and police brutality.

Double standard lives (especially with the haters)!

Is it worth the risk, the criminals didn't think so

Considering they almost ran the women over after they robbed her I say it would be seen as justified, this was in Texas after all.

Nope I would tell them good job and offer to buy them a coffee, I would be very shocked if police actually stopped a crime in progress, that usually never happens.

YUP!  That Texas "Hero" could have easily been shot by the police when they arrived, and the "hero"
would have died for a drivers license, a ss card, her credit cards, etc.
What a GunHugger hero.
Had he saved her life I would consider him a "hero", but all he saved is her lipstick and a few bucks.

And maybe he saved the life of someone else these scumbags might of tried to rob or maybe he saved a life when these robbers would have sped down the street in their getaway, where were the police box, why weren't they there to stop the crime, because when seconds count cops are only minutes away. As usual you know nothing about identity theft which these robbers were probably really after. Lets hope the green eyed goddess is never a victim of such a crime, box would be hiding behind his car calling the cops while she is getting dragged down the street, "hang on baby the cops are on their way"

The "Texas Hero" risked his life to save a pocketbook with possibly $4 and a lipstick.
If her life were threatened, then it may be worth risking your life... But for $4 or $40 or $400
or even $4000... Nope!

That's right this hero risked his life to get involved, he decided what was worth risking his life over. Now if the cops came would you blast them for risking their lives over that pocketbook, of course you wouldn't you would be praising them for putting themselves in harms way. Double standards lives (especially with the haters)!    I doubt this guy cared about a pocketbook anyways, he probably was sick of seeing victims, he knew he had the means to stop the criminals and he decided to do so and successfully did it. To that lady and those who were there they consider him a hero, anyone who would be in that same scenario would consider him one as well.
