Again who is it robbing, how is it stopping them from getting a picture id, it doesn't. It is no harder then registering to vote. And for the record I'm not for or against it, I'm just not buying into the propaganda that this is some right wing way to stop minorities or the poor from voting, they had no problem voting before they will have no problem voting now. Most states make it a priority to have voting centers within walking distance in most poor neighborhoods, even here in Schenectady they set up a voting stations right at government housing apartments.

There is an instant way to change Henry's mind on this issue...
If the Voter Suppression were against The Ron/Rand Paul campaign, telling Paulies that they couldn't
vote because their names had been purged from the voter rolls.... then Henry would instantly understand
the problem that seems to elude him when it's minorities and poor Democrats who will lose their vote.

I remember when Henry was sobbing huge tears when some Republicans pulled a rule change to limit
Ron Paul influence in past elections.  He gets it when it's his man being screwed, but when it's the poor
or minorities, he suddenly loses his indignant rage.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Ummm not nearly close to the same but where is your outrage from write ins not being counted in certain states, is that not wrong? How about some 3rd parties not being even listed on the ballot even though they qualified, that took place and not a peep from you. As I said this is no right wing conspiracy to stop voters, there is zero proof to support it and any claims to say otherwise is just conspiracy fear mongering. There is real problems in our elections that should use the backing of all political backgrounds to fix, but it seems as if you only care about this because you were told it would hurt your party.

No Henry, I supported John McCain running on the Republican ticket against GWB in the 2000
NY Primary.  McCain was making Bush look bad and was growing in support, so the NY GOP
kept McCain off the primary ballot.  (See... your party screwed McCain just like they screwed
Paul.)

In general, I'm for all candidates having an equal opportunity in the election, but in primary votes,
it's the party who runs the show and especially in places like Fulton County (A Republican Swamp)
the election is often decided in the primary vote, not the election.

A more open primary system might help.

Is Boxy sperging again over this?

Just want to show the hypocrisy that is the left...Boxy, of course, would be fine with this....

See, in order to march in a NAACP rally against voter ID laws, you need to bring Photo ID.

you need a photo id for just about anything 'government'......

they have made voting a privilege like driving, like owning a gun, like owning a home, like having a bank account, like breathing
like access to clean water, like having healthcare etc etc etc.....

maybe Box would like to define the line between human rights and human privilege.....

are we born with them? are they bestowed upon us by those humans we hand our leashes to?

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
