Even though I no longer have cable tv nor do I use Time Warner's internet service, I'm still billed for my internet by TW. I opened my bill a little while ago and just thought I'd pass along, that anyone who does use Time Warner's services will now be getting yet another increase in their next bill for those crappy services.

By the way my rate for internet is unchanged. That's right, I've been paying the same low rate for the past 7 years. It does pay to shop around.

Edited: WTF I'm looking at the new rates, and there's a Broadcast TV Fee of $2.25. HAHAHAHA, they even charge for something you can get for free with an antenna. Too funny.

I'm an enigma, even to myself.

I'm just flabbergasted that they charge for something that's free. I can't wrap my head around it. Nor can I wrap my head around the idea that there are people who don't know that broadcast tv can be obtained without a cable hook-up. Had some folks ask me how to do it. Truth.

Maybe, if you're trying to "wrap your head around it" - you're doing it wrong.  If you're an older person and don't want the inconvenience of swapping cables or switching an A/B switch to watch local channels, you'll pay the fee and shut up about it.  Anything we want to watch streams over the internet via Amazon, Netflix or Hulu, (along with our home VOIP service) all connected via our MI-FI - that way we're dependent on NO cable, satellite or telco service whatsoever to be connected to our home. One bill, one service and no contracts!

We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.   Funny how that works.

I stream and use antenna tv. I just need to convince the apartment manager that I need to erect a 30ft. tower on his property for a little better reception.

But again the idea that tw charges for something that is free is incomprehensible. It's like opening up a bill from your local govt. informing you there's now a fee, with no opt out by the way, for the air you're breathing.
