ROTTENdam is sooooooooooo redneck/backwards that it's embarrassing!

ROTTENdamians actually KNOW how corrupt, uneducated, connected blah blah blah, their elected officials are and yet they STILL SUPPORT AND VOTE THEM IN!!!!

ya just can't make this stuff up!!

As far as fdg.....if he WERE smart....he would have know that the dem party was just using him and his name/money to win the seat.

And if the dems WERE smart.....they would have known that he would be a political disaster.

ROTTENdam is so backwards, that some folks voted for fdg just because he installed a pool on their property!!!

BUT..........that's ROTTENdam!

I disagree BT.  The electorate voted for FDG because of the disasterous administration of ST. GP, Surprise, bringing back Sig , the Mertz saga etc. Remember the broohaha over Sigs kid going on the Police force?  ST thought he could do whatever he wanted with assessment increases and decreases for friends and foe.

Quite simply. ST blew it. FDG unfortunately relied too much on that political terrorist Bob God. Sigs is no rocket scientist either and  he took out an unpopular administration also. Again again these neophyte "supervisors" gravitate to HS chums or power hungry wannabes and in Rotterdam......1 2 terms and out.

Sure HB says he's not running. He's knows deep down he's not Supervidor timber. Look no further than his hand picked neophyte WC. What smart politico does what he did with REMS and raises a month before election?  Then the dope parades his wifey to the podium to endorse her hubby's plan to feather the homestead nest. Unbelievable!!  And no one steps up and informs HB of the looming train wreck they are enduring at the hands of JV RL and LL. These clowns never learn. Their antics cost them a seat on the Co Leg in my opinion but the prince town doozy burg infighting may have hurt also.

That is Rotterdam in a nut shell.

my point is............ROTTENdamians keep electing the same............ROTTENdam hasn't raised the bar since the kirvin/constantino days!

the FEW honest ones are demonized and the connected crooks are put on a pedestal.

so with that said..........there appears to be more connected crooked ROTTERdamians than honest ones.

history has proved that!

well who knows....maybe the political landscape is changing for the better.

I think you may be on to something in the landscape department. It isn't Dem/Rep anymore. The Copservatives are the problem. Time to unite and put an end to the tail wagging the dog. If certain Dems and Reps would ck their egos at the door a moderate unified bloc could emerge and make some noise. IMHO.

Need a good brewmeister. Any suggestions??

Sounds good in theory........but the copservatives are clearly the king makers...and the dems took full advantage of that. It's a win-win for both. Just ask JP.

who wants to take on the task of dissolving the rpd and replacing them with state police?

Looks like you have seen the light on that. Good to see people are thinking about getting rid of the vampires from all angles.

it isn't a dem or rep issue......it's finding candidates (on both sides) that have the desire to do what is in the best interest of the taxpayer/town/city....not for personal or political gain for themselves and for those connected to them.

i'm cautiously optimistic.

Include me in the optimistic corner.

Get rid of RPD? What candidate bad or good would ever run on that platform. Villano was telling people that until the LWV debate and then got a brain fart when asked directly about it. So give me a break they are here to stay.

there is no need for the RPD - our neighbors in Clifton Park are proof of this point

what does RPD do??????

investigate bombings and a murder or two at overtime rates?

red light runners
town code violations everywhere
the place looks like a general sh!thole

I don't see the need for Protection except from the politicos

so how about serving on straight time

of course there is no need.....BUT.....who's has the balls to suggest it....and who would win an election by promoting it? NO ONE!!

The copservative and the dems have a marriage made in heaven that will be around for a very very long time!! imho
