No argument on that one. GP is another one. He hated the squirt but embraced his budget gimmicks in 2011 that undermined FDG. Go figure.

Yeah...FDG was making the town budget...Hey, FDG got the Golub fence contract for helping get the Golub expansion approved.  Good for him!

Yup, he was the supervisor.  But hey, he made out!  He brought Macjeka back and his property assessment reduced too.  He had a pretty successful term for Rotterdam standards.  He walked away with a little money in his pocket and his assessment reduced.

I don't think it was so much bringing JM back as it was getting rid of another disaster in Surprise. That guy lowered Mertz, Nikki, S tommassone family and GP clients assessments. Surprise was another disasterous appointment led by Mertz and Parisi. ST said it was his biggest regret as Supervisor looking back now and seeing GP as a Dem and AS as Assemblyman.

Not sure but FDG assessment reduction was put back to the original assessment by a judge not JM. The other mentioned were done by Surprise. Lowered Nikki in hope it would save him the axe. It didn't.

Mertz neighbors abhor him for his absurdly low assessment. His balls weren't cut off by his party. They were cut off when he negotiated an assessment reduction from Surprise. Big liar. That Johnny Mertz.

So did a judge raise Nikki's and everybody else's back up?  Because judges aren't political hacks, they wear an official costume too.

IDK On that. I would have to say if Surprise didn't mess with FDG assessment the political landscape in town is totally different than the last 4 years. AS changed parties after ST lost to the sleeping political neophyte FDG. Stupid is what stupid does.

EXACTLY!  Don't mess with certain people's assessments who have the financial means to do something about it.  It messes the landscape up for everybody else.  Keep the financial means within the RPD.  They eventually disposed of FDG.

Disposed??  FDG was a major player in the elections of JV RL BM and LL. Again had Surprise not messed with FDG the landscape is what it is today. IMHO.

Yeah, after the copservatives wedged him out.  BM and JV was FDG sticking is finger in the DEM/CON eye.  This Larned investigation is in retaliation to the outcome of those elections.IMO

If you are a crook in Rotterdam but use your crooked earnings to remodel the Senior Center kitchen, your skeletons can stay in the closet.  In Rotterdam, the character of the crook is weighed by who the ill got money goes to.

Hey, even Al Capone fed the poor.

Hmmmmm  - this Screams FDG

but there is nothing in the microfiche in the library to tell the story of the Egg in Albany - just a dude from Amsterdam  - if I remember correctly

so if you have an original copy of the paperwork  - spill the beans
