I have yet to see a brush and leaf packer on my rural road despite the fact that not all homes have the white square in front of their driveways. Seems like some are just going to pay the $50.00 and never get the services they are paying for. Still seems like some misunderstanding on how to opt out. It should have been an opt in.

and what water district are you in?  - don't forget your new fee  - for a chance to taste the best in the area......that's if gets to your home

If you opt out, the town will send a truck to spray paint the road in front of your house like a scarlet letter telling the town trucks not to pick up. You will have the option to go to the town compost facility. The compost facility will be moving. Lamora is looking for locations on the same side of town. The administration PROMISED the residents that there would be no permit fee to self deliver brush if they passed the tax. That was a lie. Please review the certified resolutions from the last meeting (page 20) which is available on the town website. The permit fees are still $10 for a car, $20 for a pickup truck or a car with trailer, and so on.

You mean the paint that washed away?  Even though they are lowering the extortion fee to $25 per year, I'll still drag it
over to a neighbor who forgets to opt out or take if for a ride in the back of my truck.  Last year I didn't even rake, I let my leaves blow all over town.

So, Villano endorses labeling citizens with scarlet letters?  What Axis party does he belong to?

they are LEAVES for God's sake!!!

we let ours blow all over too...and so does the entire neighborhood.

nature has a way of taking care of itself and did l-o-n-g before humans and will l-o-n-g after humans are gone.

it's just bizarre that humans are looking to PAY GOV ALMIGHTY to 'pick up' after NATURE!!!

we have certainly come along way baby!!
