Yup, I made a topic 2 months ago about the problems in the Ukraine and I even wrote not much is being reported on this here in America, now people act as if this all came out of nowhere. I first heard about it by citizen journalist and then the 1st media reports that I seen came from RT, our media was a month behind on what should of been known was a brewing conflict in that region. Not saying RT doesn't push state propaganda because it does but its funny to see some get pissed when we blast American news as well, I remember Phil Donahue was fired because he didn't back our state propaganda of forcing the war effort.

And you are correct that the only place that you did hear about it was from the Russian funded, Russian sponsored, Russian Propaganda source RT! On Thursday morning, President Barack Obama signed an executive order which designated the ongoing crisis in Ukraine prompted by a Russian military invasion of the Crimean Peninsula “an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.”
The order allows the administration to impose visa restrictions on Russians and Crimeans which are identified as threats to Ukraine’s security or territorial integrity. The order also paves the way for the imposition of sanctions on individuals the government determines are responsible for “undermining democratic processes or institutions in Ukraine.”
On Thursday, the Crimean parliament voted to separate from Ukraine and join Russia as a new territory in the Russian Federation. They mandated that a referendum on either greater autonomy or union with Russia will be put to the public in 10 days. Both the government in Kiev and the European Union declared that this kind of regional referendum would be unconstitutional.

You provide the date Russia "invaded" Crimea where they already have a military base? Crimea is voting to join the Russian Federation. It doesn't sound as if Crimea is hostile toward Russia's "invasion".

Jeremy Scahill's book titled Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army described the organization. He called it a "shadowy mercenary company (employing) some of the most feared professional killers in the world accustomed to operating without worry of legal consequences (and) largely off the congressional radar."
It has "remarkable power and protection (within) the US war apparatus." It's well funded. It operates extrajudicially. It's unaccountable. It's licensed to kill, terrorize, destroy and destabilize. It takes full advantage wherever its forces are deployed.
