See Henry... DuckFcukers are a huge draw. There is a market among the Right to watch some racist redneck bigot spout hate against gays and minorities!
Face it... Just who is the Right Wing Base? Rednecks, Racists, Haters, Bigoted White Men... Which happens to be A & E's DuckFcukers selling points.

My friend must be in the 3rd unnamed group, which is probably a significant part of the viewers...
People that don't watch TV programs to mock the participants or to feel vindicated in their beliefs... They don't look at the world in black and white, and they don't take themselves or entertainment stars too seriously...they take the show as entertainment..nothing more..

If the ratings for Duck Dynasty’s first episode of the season are any indication of things to come then it appears that patriarch Phil Robertson’s racist and anti-gay remarks made in GQ last year might have had an effect after all.
The A & E series launched its fifth season on Wednesday night and saw a significant decline in viewership with only 8.5 million viewers tuning in. This number is down a staggering 28 percent from the season four debut (which had 12 million viewers).
