The USA was NEVER a Christian Nation.  You won't get a disagreement on that issue from
the Left, but the Rabid Right will attack that position as if it were in the Constitution.
This IS a Left or Right issue!

No, the "rabid right " pundits and talking heads attack.  This debate is contrived by politicians on both sides. You, on the left make the claim that the right(which you assume is everybody that voted for Romney) want a theocracy.  Then the right makes a claim that the left(everybody that voted for Obama) is conducting a "war on Christmas" and Christian.  Both parties win.  They cleanly divide the country into 2 camps over a non existent issue and drag religion into the political theater.

Both sides play the masses like a fiddle with this religion debate.  Unfortunately, the masses are to stupid, so they latch on to the debate and take sides.  Little do they understand, by choosing sidse both parties and the state win.  People choose a political party to debate religion.

Believe me, neither side want religion out of government and politics, that's exactly where the state wants it.

Now Cissy speaks for the Left too!

More Right Wing Crazy!

This WING NUT contends that the First Amendment "ONLY APPLIES TO CHRISTIANS!"

Quoted Text
Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association said Tuesday that the founding fathers
intended the First Amendment to only protect Christianity, not Islam or any other religions.

Listen to this Douche bag...
"By Religion in the First Amendment, the Founders meant "Christianity'!
(No really!   It gets better)
He goes on to say that when he was a kid in school and you'd ask someone what religion they were
they'd reply "I'm a Baptist or I'm a Catholic or I'm a Methodist" ...
It never occurred to this Fascist that some of his neighbors might have been Jews or Muslims
or Buddhists.

Creationism VS FACTS
More Right Wing Crazy!

Quoted Text
All four candidates for the Republican nomination for Texas lieutenant governor said
Thursday they support teaching creationism in public schools.

During a debate in Waco (Of Course, WACKO) hosted by the McClennan County
Republican Party and broadcast by  KCEN-TV, the four candidates were asked if they believed
creationism should be part of the state’s education curriculum.

“I happen to believe in creationism and I believe that in fairness we need to expose students
to both sides of this,” Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst said. “That’s why I’ve supported including in
our textbooks the discussion of the biblical account of life and creation, and I understand there
are a lot of people that disagree with me, and they believe in evolution.”

Dewhurst said he wanted students to be exposed to both creationism and evolution, so they
could make their own decision “with the advise and counsel of their parents.”

It's called ENFORCED RELIGION!
"I'm a Christian and You WILL Learn To Be A Christian," like it or not!

Why not teach Magic, Creationism AND Science... and let kids decide which they think are FACTS.
Can you imagine their embarrassment when these kids get to college where everyone else knows
facts, and they only know Magic or the Bible?

I agree, this is as crazy as that wacko religion environmentalism.  These types can be so dogmatic with their faiths.

So you are against teaching Creationism... I'm surprised!
Oh yea.  YOU ARE AGAINST TEACHING ANYTHING.
If you want an education... go buy one.

No, I'm against people like you telling everybody else what they must learn and believe, as what you like to call "Fact".  But...that's been your MO for awhile.  You are all for education, as long as you approve of the curriculum.  That's very American.

If I want to know about Religion, I'd consult a RELIGIOUS book.
If I want to know about SCIENCE, I'd consult a SCIENCE BOOK.

Cissy wants us to find our Science in the Bible!

What chapter is the periodic tables in the bible???
Is the chapter on dinosaurs in Deuteronomy or in Leviticus???
