Mountain Man Arrested for Trying to Feed Himself, owns judge.

In a packed courtroom, 52-year-old Ernie Tertelgte told the judge "I am a living man protected by natural law and I have the right to forage for food when I am hungry... You are trying to create a fictitious, fraudulent action."

Charged with fishing without a license and resisting the arrest for fishing without a license, Mr. Tertegte says he's being wrongly prosecuted for trying to feed himself.

Tertelgte, 52 years old, was arrested on Monday and is accused of fishing without a license and then resisting arrest.

He appeared before the judge via video from the Gallatin County Detention Center, and it was standing room only more than a dozen friends and family members filled the small courtroom.
Tertelgte appeared subdued and respectful before the Justice of the Peace during Tuesday's court session, which went very differently than his court appearance earlier this month, where Tertelgte and Three ForksCity Judge Wanda Drusch got into a heated exchange.

Terteltge argued that the court did not have the authority to charge him, citing "natural law."

He told the judge, "You are trying to create a fictitious, fraudulent action." He continued, "I am the living man, protected by natural law."

He then yelled, "Do not tell me to shut up! I am the living, natural man, and my voice will be heard!"

Terteltge then pointed at the flag and said, "That is the Jolly Roger, that thing you call the American flag with the golf fringe around it is the Jolly Roger, and you are acting as one of its privateers!"

When the judge noted that he had pleaded not guilty, Terteltge countered, "I never plead, animals plead, sounds like baaaa, oink oink." The back and forth exchange continued for a few more moments, and the hearing ended after both the judge and the defendant walked out.

This time, extra law enforcement officers were in court Tuesday and the proceedings happened without any outbursts.

A friend of Tertelgte's told us that he and the others came to court to enforce the Constitution.

William Wolf said, "It's we the people that run this and rule this country, not we the courts, not we the government, and if the people don't start standing up for themselves and for each other, we are going to continue being subjects of this government."

Justice Adams set Tertelgte's bond at $500 and his next court hearing is scheduled for January.

The Constitution of the United States of America is the supreme law of the land
and is enforced by the Federal Courts, headed by the the Supreme Court of the
United States.

"Throw the book at this deadbeat Judge!"

When a lawyer jumps on this he will likely win in a civil right abuse case.

Yup and you can guarantee they're not going to let this guy get away with it especially since this video is spreading fast. What he is doing is survival and what they're telling him is you need to pay to survive. It really shows how far we came.

Just one more "Sovereign Citizens" trying to scam the system.
This guy is typical... belligerent, hostile and stomping his foot about his RIGHTS!

So far only a few of them have actually graduated from crazies making a fool of themselves to
domestic terrorists who shoot and kill.

But for a few on the fringes... this guy is a "HERO"!

if we all went fishing to feed our families do you really think the waters would be depleted? really it's a fear tactic and control....

management of wildlife....isn't that an oxymoron???

how about the giant companies that get 'passes' to 'fish' for the masses so the poor slobs don't have to, all they have to do
is have their little cubicle job and show up at a market and buy their fish....

sometimes community becomes a controlled delegation...you know what happens when a boss delegates too far......

Thousands of accidents every year from cars hitting deer, but hunting them is still rationed.

Consider the Passenger Pigeon

One flock in 1866 in southern Ontario was described as being 1 mile wide and 300 miles long.
It took 14 hours to pass, and held in excess of 3.5 billion birds. That number, if accurate, would
likely represent a large fraction of the entire population at the time.
At the time, Passenger Pigeons had one of the largest groups or flocks of any animal, second
only to the Rocky Mountain locust.

The species went from being one of the most abundant birds in the world during the 19th century
to extinction early in the 20th century.
Habitat destruction and overhunting led to it's extinction.
The world's last Passenger Pigeon, died on September 1, 1914, at the Cincinnati Zoo.

That has no connection to this case where the guy was fishing for survival not sport. Are you telling me if you had no income coming in and your family relied on you for meals you wouldn't fish without a license, well maybe I shouldn't ask you that

Is that what this is??? Is this just some poor hobo, down on his luck, being hammered by
his govt???

This guy is a scam artist looking for the exact same thing you blame welfare cheats for doing.  He's
playing the system.  Like the Sovereign Citizens who end up shooting a cop or a judge and feel
justified for doing so.  The judge or cop shouldn't have given me a fine... so I shot him!

The guy is a scam artist, playing with anti govt propaganda as if it were fact.

Shoot up cops?  He was fishing?  Is he supposed to be at social services signing up for his cut in welfare?  Why yes, that would be most dignified.  I forgot, the "system" guys like box who are about free choice, always reference the "system".  I'm not even sure if box understands how free choice and a system are polar opposite.

I'm sure that for you Cicero... any system, any authority is a problem.
I'm a part of the American system.  I vote, I pay taxes, I fought for my country, I want my govt to
help those who are in need, I want to help educate the next generation and provide an opportunity
for a better life for all Americans.

You are only concerned for yourself.

Its a no win for this guy, if this guy wanted to eat he would either have to leech off others or pay the government for his meals, him being self reliant for his own well being is treasonous in todays America. Notice how box tries to link him to terrorist plots for just fishing without paying a ransom
