Henry, what valuable, honest information did you get from Rand Paul's 20 mins of "pie in the sky" that would convince you that he is the best choice for POTUS?
I'm waiting to see who else is running in other parties, I'm really hoping on 1 or 2 people to enter the race still, if they do they will get my support. At the time Rand Paul is probably the person running closest to my beliefs. That said I already know most of Rand Paul's ideas on issues so this speech didn't do much for me, for others 20 minutes doesn't seem to much to ask to maybe understand some of Rand's ideas or positions.

20 mins of expressing one's opinions/position is an insight into the person, and what I got from his 20 mins supports what I've believed about him based on his historical statements...just not a legitimate candidate that I would support. Hasn't provided anything of true substance that shows a direction for the country that is achievable or sustainable. I'm still waiting....hoping to know more about Walker.
JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!! JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!

His voting records are out there, his personal opinions seems to be hit or miss on the subjects, many times not really taking a stance on issues. To me anyways nothing really stands out about him, he plays it safe every time, at least Paul isn't afraid to go against his own party on issues. I would love to see someone like Ventura run, I doubt he would win but boy would it be fun to watch him on a debate putting others to shame

LMAO! When faced with the FACTS, Bucky resorts to playing the bogus Benghazi card! Lets see... How did all that turn out anyway?
If the 'case was closed', then why is there a special commission led by Trey Gowdy?
You do know that she was sent a request to testify in front of it. Didn't you?
How about the new emails obtained by Judicial Watch (FOIL) that show Hillary's top aides knew it was an attack from the outset? Did you hear about them?
Oh then there will be some questions about the run up to Hillary's War because of the 'Kucinich Tapes'
But please, continue on with your memes. There is a reason why Hillary has been in hiding for the last month.

I guess its easier to let the media tell you who to vote for then to actually know the persons positions, 20 minutes I guess is to much for you to be a informed voter
Some things would eliminate a candidate right away for me. If he his policy proposals were Racist, if he were an anti abortion nutcase, if he were a GunNut, Science Deniers, etc. That leaves 'reasonable' candidates to choose from. There are some 'reasonable' Republicans, but they have been weeded from the flock by extremist TeaBaggers.

The American conservative movement has devolved into self-parody. That was clearly evident on Friday, when Duck Dynasty reality TV star, Phil Robertson, was handed a microphone and given a prominent speaking slot on stage at the CPAC convention.

Let's face it....everyone believes she lied. Either it was intentional or she was just clueless...but in the end it is believed to be a lie. So the REPS are set on spending thousands of taxpayer dollars to prove it was a lie only to discredit her. That is the only potential outcome...waste of taxpayer money! She can't face any criminal charges or be liable in any way...she would just be discredited and likely not run for PRES or run and not be electable...REPS pushing it all on taxpayer money!!!!!
I'm not a fan of hers, never was and never will be. She is not Bill, and people need to stop believing she can achieve the positive things that Bill did just because he's her husband!

The Rules Apply To "Others" Not Me Or How Rand Paul Thinks That He's SPECIAL!

Kentucky Republicans are poised to grant Sen. Rand Paul's (R-KY) wish to hold a one-time party caucus instead of the usual Republican presidential primary, allowing the likely presidential candidate to circumvent a state law barring candidates from appearing on the ballot multiple times in the same election.
On Saturday the Kentucky Republican Party's executive committee unanimously endorsed Paul's proposal to hold the caucus. It's not official until the proposal is formally approved by the Republican central committee in August, but it appears likely Paul will be able to run for the GOP presidential nomination and his Senate seat at the same time.
(Kentucky’s statute prohibiting a candidate from appearing on the ballot twice.)

Paul didn't circumvent the law. He abided by the law by proposing to the Kentucky Republican Party that they hold a caucus and not a primary. There is no ballot for a caucus. The law states you can't appear on the ballot multiple times. Geez box...He played by the rules. What is the problem? Change the law to prohibit caucus' too.
Rand Paul Proposes $78.5B Increase For Our Defense Budget But... But wait... Wasn't Randy Paul running for office on a promise to CUT THE DEFENSE BUDGET???

It's a classic move, to flip-flop on a major issue to increase your electability. In campaign world, your willingness to listen to your consultants is the barometer of your desire to win, and on that basis alone, Rand Paul certainly seems to want to win.

Under Paul’s original proposal, defense spending would have dropped from $553 billion in the 2011 fiscal year to $542 billion in 2016. War funding would have plummeted from $159 billion to zero. But under Paul’s new plan, the Pentagon will see its budget authority swell by $76.5 billion to $696,776,000,000 in fiscal year 2016.
It's... it's almost like he flip flopped just to get votes!!! Can't be!!! Say it isn't so!!! (Rand Paul and the Truth... a good title for this thread)

Senator Rand Paul: “When is the last time in our country we created millions of jobs? It was under Ronald Reagan.”
Actually, if creating “millions of jobs” means adding two million or more jobs in a given year, we’ve done that 13 times since Reagan left office: eight times under Bill Clinton, twice under George W. Bush, and three times, so far, under Barack Obama.

the definition of a job changes under each party/president....it depends on wages/need/satisfaction...just having a job doesn't mean satisfaction/contentment....'oooooo, I get to buy a loaf of bread, thank you government.'
that is narrow minded and VERY shortsighted and doesn't even deserve a platform...it's subjective and 'the government' HAS NO CLUE ABOUT YOUR LIFE.
just like the term 'affordable'
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
2016 GOP presidential hopeful and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul took up what he called the “moral crisis’ afflicting the country, suggesting that the U.S. needs a series of “tent revivals” to get back on the proper path.
