The rounds spread but its not like in the movies You're not going to take out 5 people at 20ft

If I wanted to knock down one man, I'd use 00 buckshot or a 12 ga slug.
You will hit your target with 8 or so shot or with one large slug.
Larger shot penetrates deeper, but hits a smaller pattern.

Quoted Text
Larger shot numbers mean smaller pellets:
The diameter of birdshot is equal to .17" minus the shot number:
#4 shot is .13" in diameter.
000 buckshot; is .36",
00 is .33",
#4 buck is .24".

The smaller the shot, the less penetration but the larger the pattern.
... as any good GunHugger knows!

So do the OathCreapers get to carry outlawed, Illegal guns simply because they want to?
Do the OathCreapers have to follow the law or are they exempt from our law by their "SPECIAL STATUS"?

My guess... the Rabid Right will run from the OathCreapers when they see pics of them in full battle
dress marching through neighborhoods.

Sort of like this:

at an Oath Keepers rally last summer,  July’s Northwest Patriots and Self Reliance Rally in Coeur d’Alene,
Idaho featured representatives from the John Birch Society, which promotes the idea that
the fluoridation of water is actually a Communist plot,

and patriot movement favorite Richard Mack, a former Arizona sheriff who has urged county sheriffs to
violate federal gun laws.
The gathering’s schedule also included a workshop on colloidal silver, a substance that, despite having
no known medical use, is believed by many radicals to be a cure-all that the government has been hiding
from the American people.
(Really!  They are THAT crazy)

There were training sessions on nighttime military patrols, firearms, and hand-to-hand combat, and
seminars on the U.N. sustainability plan Agenda 21, which conspiracy theorists argue is a plot to force
the U.S. into socialism.

The Oath Keepers’ willingness to associate with these people and promote such ideas was critical evidence
of the group’s own extremist tendencies.

Yup and you wouldn't use birdshot (if you were smart) to take down a man, you would use a 00 or slug

I don't want to see that....oh wait we already see it. I would trust an Oathkeeper more then I trust a hired goon who swears his oath to only the paycheck.

Those are national socialist box, their special status derived from the GOVERNMENT'S passage of laws.  They marched around and squashed what was the German equivalent to Oathkeepers.  In Nazi Germany, the Oathkeepers would have been accused of starting Reichstag Fire.

I'd rather see troops when needed (like in Boston or Katrina) than to see Right Wing political militia
WITH ABSOLUTELY NO AUTHORIZATION AND NO OVERSIGHT BY ANYONE BUT THEMSELVES.

With US troops or cops the US Constitution protects our rights.  If OathCreapers take over, they
are responsible to no one except themselves.  They will eliminate the opposition and declare victory.

OHHH...So subject the underclass to tyranny and whippings for a few generations until a civil war and the 13th Amendment is passed.  Got it!
After all, you wouldn't want to disrupt the order by defending an abused underclass, because the abuse was deemed constitutional by 9 justices.
And that's all that matters, the opinion of 9 justices.

It's funny to watch Cicero flip flop on this board.  They SAY they believe in the US Constitution.
The US constitution with an Executive, a Legislative, and a Judicial branch...
Then Cissy dismisses the Judicial branch as if they were not in the Constitution.
"And that's all that matters, the opinion of 9 justices"

Really and how many cases of polices brutality and illegal searches have we seen, the constitution didn't protect sh*t, it might help after the infringement was made. When people think they have authority over others rights are easily trampled, this is why so many colonist didn't trust standing armies and for good reason.

Flip flop?  All branches of government are corruptible, I've been consistent that all 3 branches have not been governing to the will of the people, but rather the will of the party, which means the will of the lobbyist.  The Constitution has been usurped by all branches of government by both parties.

That is why jury nullification is important.  When the corrupt government tries people for WHAT THE GOVERNED decides are unconstitutional laws, it is up to the citizen to nullify these laws from the jury box, and free those people being charged with laws that do not represent the will of the people.

Many OathCreapers are former members of The US Military.  As such they have taken an oath that doesn't
expire when the leave active military:

The OathCreapers are telling you to denounce the oath that you took when you became a soldier,
sailor, airman or marine.

They contend that you and only you should decide what is or isn't Constitutional.  OathCreapers obey
their OPINION of the US Constitution.
.. OathCreapers decide what IS and what IS NOT Constitutional.

If they decide that your backyard is where they want to set up their command post.... what are you
going to do about it?  Call the police?  many of them ARE THE POLICE.

All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing

just because something is legal doesn't make it right
just because something is illegal doesn't make it wrong

based on who's opinion? your opinion of who you think is an expert?

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Yea!     Paranoia runs deep on this board.

I'm a little older than you are and I've heard the "Govt Is Gonna Get Ya" since I was a kid.  Johnson's gonna
get ya!  Nixon's gonna get ya and he's sellin us out to the Red Chinese!  Kissinger is secretly gonna get ya!
Carter is too incompetent to get ya!  The TriLateral Commission is gonna get ya!  The UN is gonna get ya!
Etc etc etc.
NONE OF EM GOT US!

If you are the type to believe in that agenda, then it doesn't matter who's in power, paranoia will feed into
the "Gonna get ya" of the day.

Since 1776 Poverty DID GET YA!.
Dying for lack of health care DID GET YA!
  Wars DID GET YA!
  Racism DID GET YA!
  Crime DID GET YA!
  Disease DID GET YA!
AND MANY MORE!

You can stick to your paranoia.  I'll worry about the reality.

Talk about paranoia, you want every American be subject to a government background check and approved to purchase a gun.  Box paranoia - every American that wants to buy a gun is GONNA GET YA!

Handing out guns to people who have the money but are insane or convicted dangerous felons is
asking to be shot.

A background check is a reasonable law that if done right places no more burden on the consumer
than a credit card check.

Federal gun database of all guns sold in the USA would do a lot to capture killers who are on our
streets today.
Or
We can keep on doing this:

Who Are The OathCreapers???

“These are big boys who like to play with guns and they like to
justify that by saying they’re defending the constitution. They’re really
just an anti-government group who believe in a wild set of conspiracy
theories.”

No thanks!
