actually it was 241 dead US services men, not all Marines, but facts are not your strong point.

I think it's your writting composition that needs help. You referenced 9-11 and Islamic terrorist as the reason for barricades. 9-11 was an attack using commercial airliners. Not sure if Jersey Barriers in front of government buildings would be a logical response to prevent planes from crashing into buildings. But,,,it is the government, that may pass as logic.

You prolly should have left out the part about the attacks in 2001. It really has nothing to do with the road barriers. Maybe the barriers would have been a logical response to the Oklahoma City bombing or the 93 WTC bombing, since they were truck bombs. But certainly not 9-11, 9-11 and road barriers have no correlation.

It has EVERYTHING to do with 9/11..... After that attack, Corporations increased security to their facilities, and some used concrete barriers for protection. Military reserve centers put up concrete barriers around their facilities and tall fences with barbed wire. US Government buildings (and many European Government buildings overseas) that were susceptible to access via motor vehicle carrying bombs also had concrete and steel barriers added as protection, similar to what was done at many Embassies around the world by not only by the US but other countries too All of this a result of the 9/11 attacks................
