The Benghazi issue is still in the courts because someone doesn't want the facts to come out. Fast and Furious is still in the courts as well due to the most transparent administration ever blocking documents.

Schumer is confusing pragmatism with pissed off.....

no one really cared about the teabaggers that were bought lock stock and barrel by the status quo...pretty much no different
from the unions....

national healthcare has a reason the unions wanted out......

GOP Reigns In TeaBaggers

Quoted Text
McConnell Says He Will Not Allow Another Shutdown
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) told The Hill that he will not allow another
government shutdown as part of a strategy to repeal Obamacare.

Said McConnell:
"One of my favorite old Kentucky sayings is there's no education in the second kick of a mule.
The first kick of a mule was when we shut the government down in the mid 1990s and the
second kick was over the last 16 days. There is no education in the second kick of a mule.
There will not be a government shutdown.
He added: "I think we have fully now acquainted our new members with what a losing strategy
that is."

What You Can Get For The Price Of A Shutdown
Quoted Text

Standard & Poor’s has estimated that the shutdown cost the economy $24 billion.

What we could now have instead of having the
Republican TeaBagger Shutdown:

~ The net cost of to the government from the Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP): $24 billion

~ The Department of Agriculture’s proposed budget: $22.6 billion

~ NASA’s approved budget: $16.6 billion

~ All air transportation programs, including the Federal Aviation Administration, security, research,
and other costs: $21.9 billion

~ The Child Tax Credit: $22.1 billion

~ The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program (formally known as
welfare): $17.7 billion

~ The cost of Head Start, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Women
Infants and Children (WIC) program combined: $25.2 billion

But instead of any of these... We Got Fcuked By the TeaBaggin GOP with a Govt Shutdown.
Thanks GOP!

The Republican Party Has Completely Collapsed in Virginia

These numbers are astounding.
~  Seventy-one percent of Independents in Virginia now view the Republican Party negatively. Just 23% don’t.

~ Sixty-two percent overall have a negative view of the party.
Yes, this is all about the shutdown.

~A new NBC4/NBC News/Marist poll shows the Republican Party collapsing in Virginia,
a state deeply impacted by the government shutdown.
~  Fifty-four percent blame Republicans for the shutdown, while just 31% blame President Obama.

~ Democrats face unfavorables of 45-50%
~ President Obama has favorables at 50-48%.

~ 39% said either they or a family member were affected by the shutdown.
In fact, the shutdown stood to hit Virginia harder than any other state

TeaBaggers Throw Away $2 to $6 Billion On Shutdown.

Quoted Text
WASHINGTON -- The federal government shutdown that lasted for 16 days last month is
expected to cost the U.S. economy between $2 billion and $6 billion in economic output,
according to a report by the Office of Management and Budget released Thursday afternoon.

Those figures, culled from independent forecasters, may be a conservative estimate, the
authors note. They found that approximately 120,000 fewer private sector jobs were created
during the first two weeks of October because of the dual threats of the shutdown and the
standoff over the debt ceiling. Forecasters additionally expect fourth quarter real GDP growth
to be 0.2 to 0.6 percent lower than what it could have been had the shutdown and debt
ceiling fight not taken place.

But yet McAuliffe only won by 2 percentage points to a candidate that the GOP abandoned and was further helped by a Dem fundraiser propping up the Libertarian candidate who took 7 percent of the vote, many of those being conservative voters who either would have voted for Cuccinelli or stayed home...

Ah yes... the third party spoiler.  This is an issue for Cicero and Henry... they believe in a Libertarian
TeaBagger candidate to help determine the election of Dems or Reps.
