If you are rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, the ACA says your insurance company has to pay for the ambulance ride.

the problem is that they DIDN'T! They did what was called 'soft billing'. They didn't bill for every single call. They never billed for ALS service cause if they did they surely would have paid it back to the taxpayers....yes?

Business is business patches.....and politics is politics. ROTTENdam just don't know how to separate the two.

listen......FDG...was a businessman.....he would have learned the ropes if he wasn't surrounded by goons....

and I believe this Town would have been a better place.......but no.....the goons made sure that this man who has made it...didn't stand a chance...

once they got in....they threw him to the curb.........and there is no other way to explain it.....end of story....

FDG had plans and they never came to light because of the conspiracy....so say what you like but the truth is in the pudding....

FDG was an honest and loyal man to be sure......and that is embedded in stone....

So enuf about what these goons have done and will continue to do for the next 2 years....

The people chose...and now they have to answer for it......all the chatter doesn't mean a thing until these goons are gone....

and it looks like that day will come.....not overnight.....but in time....just hope we are all around to see it....

FDG prevails

patches.....His only job was to give tax breaks to 'some' And to get rid of the assessor. JOB DONE! Anything that transpired after that was mere entertainment. Altho he too had his own friends and family club. Some benefitted from projects he approved of. (kinda like they do in the city of schenectady) The senior gossip center and the veterans memorial were just the fluff stuff that didn't need attention. Infrastructure was never address. Roads and water continued to deteriorate. As they continue to do today.

We went thru 5 corners last week.......you either fall into a pot hole or a sunken manhole cover!!!

NOTHING has been done to better ROTTENdam as a whole for years! From FDG'S administration right thru the present!!!

Becareful who you try to memorialize.

BT....you always have negativeity in your words.....so, was FDG different from everyone else???....did anyone

REALLY give him a chance....not even you....what he did was the things that the goons approved of...anything

else was insignificant.....Rotterdam has always  a particular ethinic group of people running this town.

..family and friends....what was so different if FDG did almost the same thing ...people have a way of

discriminating and being critical in a very cynical way.....and this is the way of the Town....for those who do not

live in this Town and continue to bully..I have one thing to say.....but it won't be very nice or policitally correct.

So here is to Constantino, Paolino, Tommasone, Signore....Buffardi, I say job well done....keep the past going

it's the only thing that these people know....lock them in....keep them in....and keep on nagging at the past..

Infrastructure???......the Town is a total loss so far as I am concerned.....gone is the day when Rotterdam

was a nice place to live....long before any of these goons were in government...sadly

BUT I will say....FDG will PREVAIL>>...and proud  ....

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.....and not having a HS diploma????....so what.......how did you make your wealth..

hard work??? and being smart in business????.......doubt it...and those that do have "dimplomas"    of any kind...

what has it done for them.......made them smarter in how to dupe the public and put the money in their pockets...

All the ones prevailing.....got it wrong if you think Golub didn't get an education...

at least, they treated their employees fairly....and those that deserved to go up the ladder did....even the members of their family started at the

bottom rung......that's a fact////

so spread your word elsewhere......not on my time...

FDG will prevail along with those of the same mold...hard work and a big heart.

Well the hits just keep coming! Your elected supervisor along with the overpaid underworked police chief are now using paid town employees to dig up dirt on REMS! Yup, going through years and years of calls to try and find time discrepancies to call out during the RFP presentation. And they would have us all believe REMS will get a fair shake at the table!

This debate has gone way beyond pathetic........

There is no need to "dig up" anything on REMS....the information has always been there.....while no one was paying attention.....the same facts REMS
would now like everyone to forget......or simply ignore.....which are:

REMS has never and will never be self sustaining......as they have always claimed to be.....while seeking bailouts, tax districts and donations from the
public....and while, by their own admission, illegally keeping funds collected for paramedic service they did not provide and belonged to the Town.

REMS has a long well known history of dropping significant numbers of calls....that were covered by Mohawk.

REMS has never consistently billed for their service and has been even less impressive with collection of payment for services.

REMS has not honored any of the terms of their expired contract......the Town has not seen one cent from paramedic service as promised.....their books and other
records have never been made available for review and/or audits as promised. In fact, the only financial reports ever seen were always "as far as could be determined"....
because you don't keep "records" of stolen money.

REMS was allowed to change their proposal after they were opened.....when they found out Mohawk was not going to charge the Town for paramedic billing....they wanted
to change that part of their proposal....and were allowed to do so.....and to this day the Town has never produced the letter of confirmation which was supposed to
accompany that adjustment. It was a lose-lose.....if REMS charged the Town for that billing, then for each charge, a payment should have followed....it would
have tracked the billing for paramedics....which of course they did not want to do, as that would have been lost revenue for REMS.....they would have preferred to just
keep all the money they could....as they had been for years.....which was a loss to residents.

As always, the few acts of good business sense over the years was practiced only to the least extent necessary and only to get what they wanted. They merged the
squads to get another bailout from the Town....as the merger was a condition of receiving $10,000 they were seeking from the Town.....they falsely agreed to start
reimbursing the Town for paramedic service.....only because they knew the competition would actually pay up. They now claim to have someone qualified to bill
for services, as they always should have....only because all of the other gigs are gone......no more money from the Town.....tax district shot down....and now they
will have to pay their own paramedics and the cost of that service. They have no choice but to bill and COLLECT for both.....to be a FOR PROFIT service.....a
classification they regularly bastardize. Even the People's Gazette, that once supported the very sensible idea of privatizing long ago....now believes all is just dandy
with REMS because as they now see it, all of REMS' ills have been cured.....and the only concern of any importance was their history of never paying the Town for
the paramedics, but now that the paramedics work for REMS, problem gone! Never mind the fact that they illegally retained those funds.....among other ongoing
issues....just don't let those evil FOR PROFIT entities take over. The Gazette editors should be asked, how is it that your so called "news"paper  survives? Do you have
a tax district? Are you billing, collecting and retaining someone else's money for a service you do not provide? Are you soliciting donations from the public?

And please.....enough about FDG.....he knew perfectly well what REMS was doing. Of course it had to be spelled out for him.....in a simple analogy even he could
understand: What REMS has been doing is no different than me, you or anyone who wants to going around collecting 20......30.......40 GRAND from homeowners
for a brand new swimming pool.....but FDG has to install that pool at HIS expense while WE keep the money ! Sweet deal, right?? We invest nothing but get to keep
all of the collections and who cares about materials, overhead, etc. That is your problem, right FDG??? Of course he disagreed when it was put that way....and what
REMS was doing was no different.....just someone else's investment....in a different service....but same result. Either way it is theft.

Now REMS has the gall to advance the preposterous notion that THEY are the ones being short changed??? Spare me..........

The only misfortunate in all of this is the motivation behind it. Instead of doing this long ago for the right reasons, it is now being done only for the limited purposes of
lining the pockets of friends and family members of those appropriating the dough.....and stinging political revenge. Make no mistake about it.....if left up to Harry, he
would have retired as Sheriff probably at the age of about 97.....but he was driven out by the same forces which dragged him back into politics involuntarily when his
Party could come up with no other formidable candidate.....all led of course by none other than TJ Hooker. Since then, Harry is killing TJ's REMS dreams....killing the
paramedics so close to his heart, a program he helped to build....and don't forget Harry's overtly wholehearted support of appointing ND to the vacancy created by
Matt Martin's departure for the Legislature.....who of course would be TJ's last choice on earth. The inherent political revenge in what would be sold as strictly a financial
decision was just too delicious to pass up.....especially with mountains of facts to justify it.

If you can't absorb that much information all at once you are under no obligation to read it.

There is no short version of the long REMS saga....not if you are aware of all of the facts....which obviously you are not....just obsessed with FDG.

I did not question FDG's business...I only asked if he considered it acceptable for others to keep his money for services they did not provide,
just as REMS kept payments for services they did not provide.

Is that short enough for your limited attention span???
