I couldn't find the 911 call but listened to the whole thing on CNN on Anderson Cooper, what an amazing lady, she stayed calm and cool
during the whole incident but after police had him in custody she finally broke down.

That is a great story and a brave woman!  When so many GunHuggers want to arm teachers,
She used her brain instead of a gun... And no one died!

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

She was tough, but EXTREMELY fortunate...if the gun WAS used, all her words would not have mattered.

Imagine if the typical policeman was armed with that communicative ability to defuse violence? Well, they have to be- they have tazers, auto weapons, body armor, armored vehicles, tear gas, grenades, a whole bevy of weapons that would be illegal to use under the Geneva Conventions if only used on the enemy or on POWs. So there is only training and incentive to escalate to the highest force of violence possible no matter what the threat. They even kill people who are suicidal and only wish to hurt themselves. THIS is the new Amerika, where a common citizen is better at defusing violence than a trained officer of the law. Imagine that!

Bin Laden won.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

She had no other choice but to use her brain and lets be honest she was lucky, this shooter wanted help not to kill a bunch of people. Put a guy hell bent on killing as many on he can and see if talking helps, chances are it won't.
