He only exists in your imagination, no where else!

Lets hope for your sake

Why for my sake? If he did exist, I'd live my life the same as I do now.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Going by some previous posts of yours I'm sure he would have some questions for you, you already admitted to the worst sins of all.

A good point!
Just scan through the bible... Almost anywhere in the Old Testament, and you'll see god on a killing rampage.
Men, women infants, he kills em by the bushel basket.
He must be one of these "Do as I say, not do as I do" gods.

If you get to see him ask him about it, my guess you will be speaking to Beelzebub 1st though

Again, I'm not concerned with the issue.  But if he/she does exist, the first thing I'll ask...
WTF!  Why did you ever invent Mosquitos?

Population control.

Mosquitos kill millions of people per year (malaria), making them the deadliest creature to humans on the planet.

Why did God create them?  Kinda a dumb question from a person who considers himself educated.

It's called 'ecosystems'

While we may be the main staple food to them, they in turn are a main food source for a slew of other animals like birds and bats....Dragonflies wouldn't exist without them. They are in turn food for something else and so on and so forth.

So this benevolent god of yours creates man, then kills him by the millions, just for kicks.
Yet believers will pray to him to cure their stage4 cancer, as if god gives a $hit!

For those who can't face reality, god is a good  pacifier.

it's a parable for the snake/government who invades your 'garden' to 'teach' you what to farm for yourself, if at all....

government wisdom isn't wisdom.....it's meddling to keep the status quo.....and the status quo are those 1%ers

it may be a myth but the truth behind it is real...and always present day

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Did he question "science".  I think he pretty much just 'rejected' science.  If it didn't happen in the
bible... it didn't happen.

So Cissy... do you believe that the earth is 6000 years old and do you believe that man and
dinosaurs shared the planet at the same time???

Science is fallible.  They are learning new things every day.  But the vast majority of "science" is
as close to FACT as is possible.
The Bible has very little to do with FACT, except in it's relation to religion.  Question the FACTS and
see what THE Church will tell you... "IT'S A MATTER OF 'FAITH' NOT FACT"!!!

It doesn't matter what I believe or you believe.  It's the FACT you can't accept somebody else's belief if they do not fit yours.  It is the definition of bigotry.  But as I have pointed out many times, this type of bigotry is perfectly acceptable to the tolerant progressive.

You say science is fallible, then in the same post suggest that this fallible system can only be corrected by the same fallible belief system.  Science corrects science.

Science is a great belief system, I just don't believe it is the only one.  And closing your mind to other belief systems and settling for science to be the one and only method of finding truth, for ever and ever, doesn't sound very progressive.

Joey, you have it backwards.  I fully accept your beliefs, you can have them, live by them, do whatever you wish with them.  I may disagree with your statist beliefs, but what I don't accept are little tyrants like you and box who feel the use of force through government to elevate one belief over another. The example in this case is the teaching of creationism in school on a voluntary basis.  Box goes absolutely ape sh!t at the mere mention of it.  If a rural small school board in Wyoming wants to offer an elective class in creationism, box says ABSOLUTELY NOT!  He will summonds his fellow tyrants in the Federal Government to come in an crush any thought of it - Waco style. Yet box has no problem with compulsory schooling and making science a requirement.  As if creationism would mean the end of human civilization if parents and children had a choice in curriculum in the schools they are forced to pay for.

It's not that I am for creationism and against science, I could care less either way.  It's the little tyrants like you that want use government to have absolute control on acceptable thinking.
