"Oh  $HIT...
There's Been another mass shooting...
Obamer's Gonna Take Our GUNZ!!!"

I'm afraid that America deserves these shootings.  We have it within our power to change this
but refuse to do it.
So more innocents will be led to slaughter in the name of the GOD, NRA.

But in this case, it was against the name of God. He asked if people were Christian, and then he shot them.
He also posted his opposition to organized Religion on social media

So I guess you can pin this slaughter of innocents on the Atheist.

We all know who to "pin this on"... GunHuggers.
They support this slaughter and prevent any action to correct the problem.

No, the entity to pin it on is the person who did it.. The gun is an instrument to an end and nothing more.
It does not appear that the gunman would have been rejected from obtaining the guns legally since he had no criminal record, was of legal age, and did not have any diagnosed mental illness. So, tell me again how any gun laws, short of outright banning of guns, would have prevented this?

Yes... gun laws do no good.  Yadda yadda yadda.

The facts on this shooter have yet to be determined.
But
Many other mass shooters would have been prevented from their killing spree with good gun laws.
Adam Lanza's mom knew she had a mentally ill person living in her house, but she failed to take
even minor precautions to prevent that mentally ill person from accessing her guns.

Oh... but laws about securing guns won't work... because the NRA told you they wont work.

Yeah, and Prohibition prevented people from drinking...
Push guns underground and what you'll get is not only people being killed by a gun, but people being killed because of guns.

Laws to prevent the mentally ill access to guns is just common sense, but that won't stop mass shootings.

A better predictor of mass shooters is those who have exhibited violence rather than those who
have mental illness.
If someone has a history of any kind of violent or assaultive behavior, that is a better predictor
of future violence than having a mental health diagnosis.  If someone has a conviction for a violent
misdemeanor their access to guns should be limited or banned.

LMAO @ "PUSHING GUNS UNDERGROUND"!!!

There are enough guns in this country so that every person... every man, every woman, every teenager,
every toddler, every infant... can have a gun!
"PUSHING GUNS UNDERGROUND"  yea that's a real problem!

I agree with the above. In order to accomplish that, the HIPA and privacy laws would have to be modified.
Then , you will predictably have the tin hatters railing against government intrusion.

It would seem to be an easy step to enact gun laws that would restrict anyone 'charged' with violent
crimes, at least until their trial.
And
Anyone convicted of violent crimes should be banned from access to guns, either permanently or
until a review of their violent  behavior has  been addressed.
