There were 19,392 firearm-related suicides in the U.S. in 2010

Keeping in mind that those 19,392 firearm related suicides are only 61% of all firearm related deaths;

That means that the total firearm related deaths were actually 31,800.(homicides)

You don't get to pick and choose parts of data and present it as a summary.

Jezzzzzzzzzzzzz! This is why I usually choose to ignore L4Life.  Facts just never seem to
enter his reality!

Because I did respond, I will continue:

First a definition: (one that L4Life has already rejected, but it is he who disagrees with the dictionary,
not me.
homicide
1. the killing of one human being by another.
2. a person who kills another; murderer.

Dictionary.com
Yes the killing of one human being by another.  NOT SUICIDE!
(Why do I bother)

Moving right along...
According to the CDC in 2010  there were
19,392 suicides by firearm (61%)
11,078 homicides (murder) by gun (35% )
Accidents, police shootings and unknown causes (4%)

So your claim is that all homicides are murder.

Then why are there 3 types of homicides?
    Murder
    Manslaughter
    Justifiable Homicide

Because a dictionary gives an example of one type of homicide, you can't claim that all homicides are murder.

Plus, we were discussing firearm related deaths and you left out the leading cause, like you always do.

Your word games don't change the fact that you presented skewed facts to support your argument, regardless of leaving out the most important cause of firearm deaths from your justification formulas.

So you can call suicide whatever you want, but it doesn't make it anything less than the number one cause of firearm deaths that dwarfs all the murders in the countries you listed above.

The overwhelming majority of these suicides are veterans.

But hooray for clip limits and big brother surveillance.

Fukck the 100,000 vets who died in the past decade.

You use selective outrage.

You are more out of balance than Foxnews.

Most gun deaths in the US are caused by vets, not by gangbangers.

The stats have recently even widened the gap between veterans taking lives and gangbangers taking lives.

Box could save the lives of thousands of vets each year if he pushed for banning vets from having guns.

Who's the more responsible gun owners?

The fractional percentage who kill or die from accidental firearm discharge, or the thousands and thousands of vets who irresponsibly kill themselves deliberately.

You post example after example of how stupid people make deadly mistakes, but not a word about the never ending trail of dead veterans, that exist with no end in sight.

Spin away, comrade.

WE???
WE WERE DISCUSSING???

I never discuss anything with you.
I posted exactly what I wanted to post, leaving out nothing.

Again:

I stand by my post.
You can go on with your vets suicide topic if you wish.  That has nothing to do with me.

Nope!  I posted a dictionary definition.
You are free to disagree with the dictionary.
  Makes no difference to me.

Of course, why would you care about saving the lives of vets, when you can demand selective assault weapons bans.

You presented it as a rebuttal to my claim that all homicides are not murder.

But hey, if you changed your mind and now realize that my statement was correct, it's ok.

Stand Your Ground Laws... Suck!

"Stand Your Ground" shooters amped up on NRA propaganda, armed to the teeth and ready to shoot,
are themselves most often the danger.
“In 79 percent of the [Stand Your Ground] cases, the assailant could have retreated
to avoid the confrontation.
In 68 percent, the person killed was unarmed.”

Stand your ground only acceptable for cops in poor black neighborhoods...then it's a justifiable homicide.
