I did read it.  It doesn't say who this mysterious republican is - how convenient.  I don't care if the unnamed source was a communist, it still doesn't mean he/she can start making up some kind of new coded language with different meanings.

If 11 million Americans immigrated to Egypt, bringing along a culture where alcohol, porn, promiscuity and fast food is common, I'm not sure if the Egyptian resistance to the cultural change would be considered racist.

Question - does a nation have a right to preserve the cultural norms from outside influence?

Preserve Cultural Norms!!!
I had Stromboli (Italian) last night for dinner, there are 3 Asian restaurants within a 5 min drive, which
might cause you some 'angst' (German word), but that doesn't give you "Carte Blanche" (French) to just
condemn them being in our culture.
Where I grew up, the South Side was Italian, the East End was Irish, Cork Hill was Polish, Ukrainian
and the WASPS lived on Market Hill.... but we want to preserve our cultural norms!

When I was in the South, Catholics were considered just one step above Hispanics and Blacks...
Is that the Cultural Norm we should preserve???

I think this Congressman knows that if he votes for any Immigration Bill, he will not be reelected
for it in the next election.

So Catholic was a race in the south?

Maybe the influx of Hispanic Catholics will change the culture of abortion and end it.  Who wants to preserve that culture?lol

Strange that you should put it that way... I'll tell you what happened to me in S Carolina.

I and my spouse were looking for restaurants and since my spouse was Italian, and had gone for a
whole week with out any pasta, she was looking for an Italian Restaurant.  They were rare then and
didn't have Italian sounding names.  This one was called "the Hideaway" or something like that.

When the waiter came to take our order my spouse asked about an Italian dish on the menu and he
told her what the item was made of and pronounced the name (in Italian).
My spouse asked the waiter "Oh, Are You Italian".  He replied "No, I'm Baptist"!
Strange hun!  If you're Italian in the South you're considered Catholic, so for him, his answer
made perfect sense.

So is identifying as a baptist a proclamation of his race, religion or nationality?  And was the segregation of the two groups based on skin color, nationality, or religious beliefs?

We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.   Funny how that works.

Another 2016 Hopeful Bites the Dust as Scott Walker
Under Investigation

Quoted Text
Fresh on the heels of the last John Doe investigation into Gov. Scott Walker’s administration, which
resulted in convictions for three former Walker aides — an appointee and a major campaign donor,
comes the revelation of yet another probe surrounding the Wisconsin Republican Governor. This one
centers around an anonymous campaign that is most likely Walker’s recall campaign “Friends of Scott
Walker”.

"God Wrote The US Constitution"
Tom Delay
(No really, he said that)

Quoted Text
Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX) this week warned Americans
to remember that God “wrote the Constitution” based on the Bible.

During an appearance on John Hagee Ministries’ Global Evangelism Television (GETV) network
on Wednesday, host Matt Hagee asked the Texas Republican where the country had gone wrong.

“I think we got off the track when we allowed our government to become a secular government,
” DeLay explained. “When we stopped realizing that God created this nation, that he wrote the
Constitution, that it’s based on biblical principles.”
