And todays military volunteers for it unlike before while being brainwashed into believing
they're fighting for our freedoms, please.

Henry is arming his compound in preparation for the day (soon) when he will take up arms against
his country.
HEY!
Taking up arms against YOUR OWN COUNTRY... Isn't that the definition of TREASON???

LMAO like you had some moral justification in killing men and women in some far off land, like I said before you are the only one here with blood on their hands so spare me the lame arguments. I would never shed one ounce of blood of mine or anyone else's who did me no harm, that's where you and me differ.

Yes, I fought for my country... (you know... like George Washington)
Not against my country, as you propose.

Exactly, letting companies compete would drive salaries up, since there is a law companies use it to set their wages and there is no reason for them to compete.

There are lots of people that can't work because they don't have the ability to generate
enough profit for the employers to pay them minimum wages.

They end up getting Social Security instead.

There  are plenty of partially disabled or impaired people that would love a $20 a day job doing something simple.

You fought for sh1t, comparing yourself to Washington is laughable. Washington fought against tyranny, you fought a enemy that never threatened us. Besides by the way you act you would have called Washington a terrorist for fighting against the crown.

Absolutely, many older people would love to work just to get out and do something, some places do hire them like Walmarts as greeters but not all can afford to do that because of the laws.

It just shows us all how out of step some on this board are compared to the rest of America.

Quoted Text
Three-fourths of Americans support increasing the minimum wage from the current $7.25 to $9
per hour, according to a new Gallup poll.
The poll shows 76 percent support the change -- up from 71 percent in March -- while 22 percent
oppose it

Also,  69 percent of Americans would support a minimum wage that is indexed to inflation.

Just think of how many of OUR TAXPAYER dollars are used to fund anti union and anti middle class
lobbying aimed at making the Rich richer, while pushing even more Americans from the
middle class into poverty.

I wonder how many of our board 'Bat$hit Crazies' will attend this meeting (armed for rebellion of course)
and take their honored position overthrowing our government?

Yea... that's what America needs... Walmart employees working for $20 a day!

How much does it cost US TAXPAYERS for Walmart to pay it's employees?

Factoring in what taxpayers contribute for public programs, the report
estimated that one Wal-Mart supercenter employing 300 workers could
cost taxpayers at least $904,000 annually.

That's $900,000 of OUR TAX DOLLARS!
(we could pay even more if Henry got his way with his $20 a day rate)

Public support for using force in Iraq was 72% in 2003.  Being out of step with mindless Americans clamoring for government force is more often than not a good thing.

YUP!  Conservatives lied us into that war.  The WMD Slam Dunk was a totally fabricated GOP excuse to
grab Iraqi oil.
And how did that GOP sponsored Oil War work out for ya?

It took President Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats to clean up G W B's dirty diapers
and end that war.

Who is funding the public programs?  Taxation for government programs actually create the environment causing people to use them.  The program creates the need.

Then we agree.  Raise the minimum wage  and there is no need for Walmart Employees to be on public assistance.
