The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

How many politicians can the insurance industry and drug companies buy with one sixth ownership of the economy.  For any person that disagreed with the Citizens United decision, giving that much money and power to a small group of corporations would seem counterintuitive.

United States Congress - brought to you by - Blue Cross, MVP, Aetna, UnitedHealth, Humana, & WellPoint.

Majority Say Republicans Shouldn't Control the House

A new CNN/ORC poll finds that 54% of Americans say it's a bad thing that the Republican
party controls the House
of Representatives, up 11 points from last December, soon after
the 2012 elections when the Republicans kept control of the chamber. Only 38% say it's a
good thing the GOP controls the House, a 13-point dive from the end of last year.

"This is the first time since the Republicans won back control of the House in the 2010
elections that a majority say their control of the chamber is bad for the country."

Overall, just 12% of those questioned say they approve of the job Congress is doing.

Yes, govt theft is a Christian virtue.  Oh how statists redefine religion to justify the state theft and murder.  The United States incarcerates the poor at the worlds highest rate - yup another Christian virtue.

Who do the Republicans go to with website tech problems???
Republicans on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce have asked ex-fugitive
and murder suspect John McAfee
to review the HealthCare.gov website.
Figures!

IF you're unfamiliar with McAfee, see video below:

G.O.P. Roots for Failure
(So do some on this board!)

Quoted Text
In theory, lawmakers should hope that government programs work well, and if they don’t,
work to fix them. Elected representatives should hope that government agencies carry out their
missions smoothly, and if something goes wrong, try to figure out what happened to avoid making
the same mistake in the future.

Obviously that’s not how things work in the United States, where one of the two parties doesn’t
actually believe in government. Republicans want to shrink government until it’s small enough to
drown in a bathtub! They think there’s nothing scarier than the prospect of a government employee
trying to help! With beliefs like those, it’s perhaps not surprising that — with disturbing frequency
— they root for failure in order to score points.

Yes, you are correct, I am one rooting.  I rooted against Soviet Communism, and I would have rooted against German Naziism, and Italian Fascism.  These systems of collectivism destroyed many more people than they helped.

I'm not looking to score political points, I don't vote.

Anarchists like Cissy are the first ones to complain when the govt actually does collapse.

Yup, I complain about all the innocent people those in government will destroy while trying to hang onto power and control over the governed.  Anybody with an ounce of empathy would feel the same.

The GOP Vs The TeaBaggers

The GOP is starting to look for ways to distance itself from the Tea Party for the 2014 elections.
The GOP’s new plan to combat Tea Party politics includes the following strategies:

~ Running attack ads against Tea Party candidates
~ Getting rid of Ron Paul’s protégés in states like Minnesota and Iowa
~ Having open primary elections instead of nominating conventions
~ Taking on Tea Party groups such as Heritage Action and FreedomWorks
