You posted the maps. Don't cop out now. Did you not see the information was slanted by excluding many other factors? Why didn't you find a map that showed where the black population was concentrated? Didn't fit the agenda? The economic problems of the south are primarily due to the Union Armies decimation of southern cities. The south had to spend millions if not billions when adjusted for inflation, to rebuild. That has much to do with their poverty.
Not to mention, besides maltreatment of kids(not defined) and slavery(not a modern day issue), the rest of the so-called problems are not the responsibility of governments. They are the responsibility of the individual.
Cissy sure manages to find hidden meanings in a few maps containing demographic information. ~ I didn't exclude or include any information. I saw the maps contained as one photo, and posted it. You can take from it what you may. (Personally I found the maps to be informative and enlightening. It may appear that certain political views persist and promote certain problems in society.)
~Since you requested it so 'politely', I will try to find a map showing black population... but I'm sure if you really wanted to see that map, you could find it yourself and wouldn't need my help.
~I'm surprised that you think the poverty problems in the south are still caused by the Civil war (150 years ago).

Here Cissy. This is what you requested... I hope it's what you were looking for... but really, you could have found this just as easily.
Glad to help you out:

Hahaha!!
Your little display of maps listed slavery are a contributing factor to the so-called problems of the south. But leveling cities and forcing generations to spend the wealth they had accumulated up to that point doesn't impact the economics today.
You put all this selective information together, and it looks like Black, Christians(Baptists,Protestants) are responsible for poverty, poor education, diabeties, and beating children.
It is interesting that Yellowstone National Park has one of the highest educated populations according to those maps. I didn't know that the bears and elks and bison were doing so well but apparently they don't go to church.

My maps were just that maps of demographics. You are the one saying "slavery (is) a contributing factor... not I.

Really Cissy... you're delusional today.
I NEVER posted the map including BLACK POPULATION DENSITY. Remember??? You requested that map, I didn't include it. REMEMBER???
YOU are the one who included "black population density" to the other maps... NOT I!
(I think cissy is losing it!)

On another note... You posted: "All those so-called problems in the south"... Do you not consider poverty, poor education, diabetes, slavery or child maltreatment deaths to be REAL ISSUES? How are these issues as you put it "So Called Problems". Most Americans would consider them REAL PROBLEMS!
In your maps of REAL ISSUES of the south, you list Baptists and Protestants as "real issues" or as you so eloquently put it REAL PROBLEMS. I guess in your liberal statist bubble, "Most Americans" see Baptists and Protestants as REAL PROBLEMS.
In your list of real problems with the south, Baptists and Protestants make up YOUR top six.

Cissy keeps confusing HIS post with MINE.
I NEVER posted "maps of REAL ISSUES of the south"... but Cissy is trying soooo hard to make it so.
I posted a collection of maps... to those maps CICERO ADDED BLACK POPULATION DENSITY... I did not.
Cicero in his delirium then posted :you list Baptists and Protestants as "real issues" ... Of course I did not. Read it for yourself as Cissy is too confused to get his facts straight.

If you look at these issues, you wonder why are they concentrated so heavily in the same geographic area. Poor education, diabetes, poverty, child maltreatment deaths...(Dot dot dot = BAPTIST & PROTESTANT)all happen throughout the USA, but no where near the extreme rate indicated by the graphs in Southern States.
Your "the south" issues map show the Protestant and Baptist demographics. What is the issue with them? What was the point? You should be ashamed you bigot.
poverty exists when the state has the 'rating systems' hand out value on you/your food/your education/your home/your fiat etc etc etc, then LEVY you to the max and prostitute you out as a hard working tax paying happy American cog that feeds/attacks/waters the rest of the world....
poverty in relation to what plumb line? the fu(king kardashians/nascar drivers/professional golfers/professional politicians etc?
if you have a homestead on which you feed/cloth/water yourself by your own hands....you're not poor.
take the man from the land and put him in the city and tell him you will take care of him and I'll show you a poor, bitter man who was lied to/cheated and used.

New blood joins this earth And quickly he's subdued Through constant pain disgrace The young boy learns their rules
With time the child draws in This whipping boy done wrong Deprived of all his thoughts The young man struggles on and on
He's known Oooh a vow unto his own That never from this day His will they'll take away
What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been
What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven
They dedicate their lives To running all of his He tries to please them all This bitter man he is
Throughout his life the same He's battled constantly This fight he cannot win
A tired man they see no longer cares The old man then prepares To die regretfully That old man here is me
What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be Never see Won't see what might have been
What I've felt What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free Never me So I dub thee unforgiven

Still -- no one seems to explain how all those bears, elk, bison and other animals living in Yellowstone National Park got so well educated and so rich (according to those maps), and managed to do it without getting diabetes. I think Congress should spend a few hundred million dollars to study this question.
