BTW, we are allowing an accused sociopath who pointed a gun in a kid's face, to drag out the case until he has his 20 years in and can retire. After retirement, even if he is prosecuted and found guilty, he keeps getting a pension. One would think that someone accused of such a heinous act would demand a speedy trial, to vindicate him and restore his reputation, along with the reputation of our force and city. Hmm. What possible reason could their be for delay?

He knows he's guilty and wants to make sure he can get his pension.

I believe you may be right, Shadow. But that doesn't explain how the accused seems to be in control of the situation.
BTW, I meant "there" instead of "their" in my above post, but I get so disturbed by this stuff I get careless. How long to we Schenectady taxpayers have to deal with this kind of arrogance? We spend a lot, A LOT, of money so we don't have this type of thing occurring anymore, yet here we are again. The previous mayor looked into dissolving the police force. That's how bad it is. Incredibly, no one in authority considers it important that anything changes.

We can thank the police contract and their good lawyers for the ability to protect and delay the process.

Florida Cops Made Millions Dealing Cocaine: The Latest Asset Forfeiture Outrage

Nick Sibilla  Nick Sibilla, Contributor
It sounds like a plot ripped straight from Grand Theft Auto V.  Police conduct “reverse” sting operations, posing as drug dealers to lure buyers with promises of cheap cocaine.  Once the deals go down, cops bust the buyers, and using state and federal forfeiture laws, seize their cash and cars.

For years, police in Sunrise, Fla. have conducted these lucrative reverse stings.  Between 2011 and 2012, Sunrise police made over $5.8 million in forfeiture proceeds, according to The Sun-Sentinel, which broke the story.  The city now has a whole parking lot packed with seized cars.

Incredibly, cops would usually have at least one kilo of bona fide blow when meeting the buyer.  The deals themselves happen at surreally suburban locations, going down at TGI Fridays, Sam’s Club or Panera Bread; Miami Vice this ain’t.

While forfeiture proceeds have been used to buys guns and gear for the Sunrise Police Department, funds have also been funneled towards overtime pay for officers and to pay off confidential informants.

A dozen undercover officers have collectively earned $1.2 million in overtime pay since 2010.  One sergeant collected more than $240,000 in overtime during that same period.

Meanwhile, $1.2 million has been given to 79 informants, in part to arrange even more reverse stings.  In fact, just one informer, “reportedly a beautiful, buxom brunette,” has been paid more than $800,000 for her assistance with 63 sting operations.  Per sting, she earned anywhere from $1,000 to $85,000.  All together, that femme fatale helped Sunrise police seize more than $5 million.

SKOKIE, Ill. — A Skokie police officer has been arrested and charged with felonies in connection with an incident caught on video that shows him allegedly shoving a woman into a jail cell, causing serious injuries, authorities said.

The officer, Michael Hart, 43, was charged today with felony aggravated battery and official misconduct in the incident, according to Cook County State's Attorney Anita Alvarez's office. The woman, who was in police custody after a drunken driving arrest last March, suffered facial fractures that required surgery and other injuries, according to authorities and also to a civil lawsuit the woman, Cassandra Feuerstein of Chicago, filed against the village of Skokie.

According to the state's attorney, Hart, of Gurnee, became irate after the woman repeatedly disregarded his commands while he was trying to get her fingerprints and mug shot. The officer then "grabbed her forcibly by the arm," pulled her toward a cell, then used both hands to shove her into the cell, the state's attorney's press release states.

The woman face and head slammed into a concrete bench, fracturing a facial bone, loosening some teeth and causing a deep cut to the face, official said. In addition to the surgery, she has suffered vision and dental problems since, the release says.

Skokie village officials had said earlier that they had "deep concern" for Feuerstein's injuries" and that Hart was placed on station duty, with no public contact, while the village and state's attorney investigated.

The village has now placed Hart on paid administrative leave pending resolution of the matter, said Dave Bayless, a village spokesman.

Hart's lawyer, Jed Stone, said he was ordered held on $75,000 bond at Cook County court today, but that his family plans to post bail. Hart is expected to be home this evening, Stone said.

Police shot unarmed man, drove an armored truck through his door when he did not exit his property on command

A Virginia man loses his family and then his life thanks to the swift justice of the local police department.

Posted on October 30, 2013 by O.D. in Uncategorized

SPRINGFIELD, VA — A paramilitary force was dispatched to a townhouse after a woman reported a domestic dispute between her and her boyfriend.  When her boyfriend stubbornly chose to stay inside his home, police shot him and drove an armored truck through his front door.

The situation began on August 29th around 2:40 p.m. when John Geer — a 46-year-old kitchen designer and installer — was told by his girlfriend that she had decided to leave him.  The couple had two daughters together, ages 13 and 17.  Emotionally distraught over the breakup, Geer exacerbated the situation by throwing her belongings onto the lawn of their townhouse.

This led to her calling the police.  She informed the dispatcher that he owned a firearm.  A SWAT team was sent to the quiet cul-du-sac.

Geer’s home was surrounded by armored vehicles and uniformed personnel.  A police sniper was photographed lying prone in a neighbor’s yard aiming toward Geer’s residence.  Men in helmets and military fatigues cordoned off the neighborhood.  Police began making their demands.  An armored truck a topside gun turret parked in his yard and prepared for a strike command.  As time went on, helicopters whirred overhead and K-9 units were seen by neighbors.

“We’re just here to help you — come out with your hands up,” recounted neighbor Edith Eshleman, of the police negotiations.

Fairfax County police officers spent approximately 40 to 50 minutes communicating with Geer, insisting that he either let them in his home or that he exit into their custody.  He did neither.  Geer was “a very stubborn man,” according to one of his relatives.

Geer’s girlfriend and two teenage daughters had already left when the negotiations came to an abrupt conclusion.  An officer shot Geer through a screen door as he stood facing outward at them.  Geer closed the door and retreated into his house.

Around 4:30 p.m., with Geer sill “barricaded” inside his home, police used their $250,000 armored Lenco Bearcat to drive a long battering ram through the front door.  SWAT team members made entry and ultimately found Geer deceased in his home.

Don Geer — the victim’s father — watched the scene unfold from the front lawn of the townhouse where officers positioned themselves with their guns trained on his son. He confirmed that his son’s hands remained empty and resting on top of a screen door throughout the confrontation with police. When John lowered his hands about six inches, according to Don Geer, one of the officers fired a shot and hit John, causing him to retreat.

Police did not immediately say whether John Geer was armed or why the officer decided to open fire, nor would they discuss the details of the conversation between the officers and Geer before the shooting. Geer’s father says that he was too far away to hear the conversation, but claims that a detective assigned to investigate the case told him that his son that his son was not holding a gun at the time of the shooting and that he did not have one on his person.

Man Claims He Was Anally Probed 8 Times Following Traffic Stop For Drugs
November 6, 2013 7:13 AM

anal probe, David Eckert, Deming Police Department, Gila Regional Medical Center, Shannon Kennedy

DEMING, N.M. (CBS Las Vegas) — A New Mexico man claims he was anally probed several times by police and medical officials following a traffic stop.

The victim, David Eckert, claims in a federal lawsuit that officers from the Deming Police Department pulled him over after he failed to make a complete stop at a stop sign outside a Walmart this past January.

When Eckert got out of his car, officers indicated that they believed he was in possession of drugs – in his anal cavity.

“They say when he stepped out of his car he was standing in a manner that looked as if he was clinching his buttocks,” Shannon Kennedy, Eckert’s attorney, told KOB-TV.

A judge granted a search warrant to perform an anal cavity search on Eckert shortly after he was taken into custody. KOB reports that a doctor refused to perform the anal cavity search at a Deming emergency room, saying it was “unethical.” Eckert was then transported to Gila Regional Medical Center, where his alleged trauma began.

According to the lawsuit and medical records, Eckert’s abdominal area was x-rayed twice, doctors stuck fingers in his anus twice, he had three enemas inserted anally and had a colonoscopy performed. No drugs were ever found during the search.

If this doesn't wake you up to the terror that the government is employing against its citizens then nothing will

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

If a person does not submit to forced anal probing by government authority, it is obvious the person has problems with authority and is probably a right wing anti-government anarchist.  Why is the suspect complaining, the multiple forced enema's were covered by Obamacare.  Left wingers can't figure out why somebody wouldn't want things jammed up their a$$.  The guy was probably a homophobe.

just wait until colonoscopies are mandated by national health insurance as a standard of care...we'll call that
PAY TO PLAY....

you'll be forced to collectively pay for your anal probe...all in the name of healthcare extortion

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.
